Woah, this is the first time I wrote a review for a tour guide - that is because I never had one for the longest time, because I had lots of bad experiences in the past. But Danny is different. He is not the typical guide that regurgitated what he/she knew and waiting for the next opportunity to take you to the next gift shop. We spent a day with Danny exploring Jerusalem and he allowed us to tailored the tour based on our interests. He is very approachable, professional and extremely knowledgeable. You can't get a better guide to learn about Israel - a place with such rich history - from an archeologist, Danny. His insightful, clear and engaging narration enriches the entire visit - It brings the past alife as we are walking through the winding paths of the Old City. I like his style - objective - scientific - yet not too overloaded with information. But if you do want more information - he is there to tell you :)
Although Danny is a tour guide, he is still very much involved in archeology and history - he was recently involved in the Herod the Great's exhibition now showing in the Israel musuem - this is awesome because you can be sure you get facts that are updated and new from Danny.
From me, a traveler that often wanders without maps and guides, and all about going with the flow in my travels - I highly recommend Danny in Israel! Changed my perspective of a guided tour ;)
