“Clean Hostel, Great Location, Great Atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2012

The hostel is very clean, and in a great location near Jaffa (Yafo) St. and Ben Yehuda shopping. Old City is walking distance from the hostel. The bar is a nice place to hang out on Shabbat where everything else is closed. Have stayed several times, will be back.

Room Tip: I chose a private room because it wasn't too much more expensive than the dorm rooms.

Very nice atmosphere, especially for young, but also for more mature travellers.
Very friendly staff. In the meeting room you can always find someone to talk to or to have a beer with. Breakfast is very simple and could be improved. And I also hope there will be a roof terrace soon (as promised)

I liked everything about this hostel, it is located next to the tram station and the bus stop is literally outside the hostel door. If you prefer walking, it takes about 15 mins to the old city. Rooms are simply furnished but clean, the atmosphere is fantastic, it is like home away from home!, you get to meet other travelers in the dining area. Staff organize activities every evening and you don't get bored. Staff is fantastic and helpful. WI FI is very good and definitely a plus!. Highly recommended. I will certainly be back.....

Room Tip: Triple rooms are more spacious and have wardrobes.

Very nice atmosphere! Excellent location, excellent communal area (with pool, bar, kitchen, hamacas, cosy corners...), great breakfast, comfortable rooms (nicer than on the pictures), many activities and tours possible (f.e. free guided tour in city), nice staff...

We have had five nights in Abraham Hostel, the atmosphere is great, the double rooms are large, staff friendly and breakfast generous, we would definitely stay here again. We are in Israel to celebrate a 50th birthday and wondered if we would be the oldest people in the hostel. The ages vary from young to our age - a good mix.

Room Tip: As mentioned before, request a room away from Jaffa Street, we are in room 219, big and quiet.
