“A good restaurant where one can enjoy good food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

The Colony is a restaurant where my family and I frequent from time to time.
It is a good restaurant where the food is good and the price is reasonable. Parking is available and the renovated Old Train Station is nearby.
Those who venture into Ein Kerem should go to Karma Restaurant which ,like the Colony,is a real treasure. White Restaurant in the Cinemateque is also a very good option.
All three restaurants are opened 7 days a week.

“A Jerusalem favorite”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2014

The Colony is always a decent choice. I've been there multiple times with friends, family, or for romantic dinners. It is an all purpose place, that has a nice bar, outdoor (closed in) seating and couches. It is usually full, so it can be good to make a reservation during peak hours. Last time we had caeser salad and israeli salad and liver pate. Unfortunately, unlike most of their dishes, the pate was not very good. It came with a sort of cake-like bread and had pistachio or some other mystery concoction on top, which took away from the taste of the pate. The salads were great. Burgers are a good choice also.
