“Good food and good price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

Whenever I want a good dinner and do not want to cook we go to Link (2 locations: Jerusalem and Maoz Zion). The food is always good and portions are big. Not a fancy place but get value for the price. Have large selection of wines and beers also.Recommended for couples or families. Open 7 days a week which is a great advantage.

“Wonderful place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

One of the very nice places in Jerusalem which are open on Saturdays.

It's good for lunches and dinners - tasty, diverse food (salads, meats fish and seafood), a good selection of drinks, Or you can just have a drink, a glass of wine or a coffee with cake. It also welcomes children and they can have simpler dishes (suggest daytime for coming with children, evening are mostly for couples...).

Sitting is inside - a bit noisy, or outside in a very nice, well maintained terrace, shaded by trees and parasols. They have gas heating in the winter so you can sit outside even on cold days.
.
The place is having it's 15th birthday soon, I've gone there for romantic dates, with friends and with my parents, and recently with my son. Always had a great time - service and food are great but mostly the ambiance - comfortable and welcoming for all.

Tip - make a reservation if you want to go there on Saturday and you are more than 3 people.

“Delicious food and friendly service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

This was the perfect place for dinner my first night in Jerusalem. My hotel suggested it, knowing that most other places would be closed on a Friday night, and made reservations for me in advance. It was only about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The place was comfy and full of locals enjoying themselves over food or just drinks -- a good sign. I had the fish special for my entree (can't remember what it was called) and it was delicious. Fresh and cooked just right. Then I had a wonderful lemon tarte dessert with flamed top (a la Creme brûlée) that was really yummy. My waitress said it was a delight to serve me because I liked everything so much. Prices were are on a par with other Jerusalem restaurants, more than I wanted to spend on a regular basis, but it was worth it.

“Try the Mevaseret Branch!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

There is a second branch of Link Cafe Bar that 's located in the Jerusalem suburb of Mevasseret Zion. The suburb is located about 10 minutes outside of Jerusalem on the way to Tel Aviv ( just before the Arab village of Abu Gosh). The restaurant is located in a most unusual location - in the middle of a rather drab industrial park. But once inside you will forget the location. My wife and I live in Mevaseret and go to the Link Restaurant there at least once a week. Most often we sit at the bar and have a meal. But regular seating at tables is of course available. The atmosphere is great, the restaurant almost always full of contented customers, and the menu is excellent. They have a fabulous kebab (ground meat) dish, chicken liver, chicken breast, hamburger, and an excellent selection of tasty salads large enough for two to share. Order a glass of "Flam" wine (Israeli red) with your dinner and you won't be disappointed. Definitely recommended! Worth calling in advance to make reservations as they're often full - especially from Wednesday through Saturday. They're not Kosher so they're also open on Friday nights and Saturdays.
