“My son got married one mile away!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

I looked on the Internet for a place close to the hall so that we could dress for the wedding and then sleep well after it before returning home to Kfar Saba (60 km away) which I was not willing to do after a night's festivities and drinking.

The hotel is a modest, clean, no spills no thrills place that accommodates us exactly as we would have wanted and parking was no a problem at all, both when we arrived and after we returned in the early hours of the morning.

Staff were great and we paid a reasonable price for what we got and what we got was what we needed.

It was also nice to see the American guest party looking at us with warm smiles as we left for the wedding and they clearly understood that we were not there just for a casual dinner.

Great place for the person not looking for five stars and looking for home away from home! It was great and if our 16.5 year old decides to get married in Talpiyot, be sure that we will be returning!

Was a great place to stay. The staff are lovely people and take a care of things in a timely manner. The rooms are somewhat small, but typical for this area. The location was great for easy access to the Old City Jerusalem. My roommate and I walked there in about forty minutes. The neighborhood was delightful, great bakery and burger place nearby. Hope we get a chance to stay there again.

I stayed 4 nights in the hotel during the 2013 Sukkot Feast. I greatly enjoyed my stay at this delightful Hotel and would gladly return. I liked the personal, friendly service and always felt welcome. The hotel as a whole and the rooms in particular were comfortable, well equipped and very clean. The environment was quiet and conveniently located for buses, shops and other facilities. Breakfasts were a feast. I am a fussy traveler, yet I would rate this hotel as excellent value for my money. I hope to return someday and will also recommend it to friends.

Room Tip: When booking specify clearly what you require, and confirm with management when booking is made.

We came to Jerusalem during Sukkot Holidays. We stayed the first 2 nights in this small quiet and friendly hotel. We had quiet a bad start at the airport trying to pick up our rental car we've already paid for. After 3 hours of trying without any success we took the last shuttle bus before Sabbath Started. The welcome was very friendly helpful and informative, the room was small, clean and quiet, the neighborhood was great for walking in the evening to the nearby Colony to a great little restaurant, called the Colony. Very friendly everybody! it made up for the bad start and we enjoyed walking during Sabbath through this beautiful neighborhood. There is a great Promenade walk with a breathtaking view over the old city and the Mount of Olives. Its a great walk to the Old City. The breakfast was plenty and very good. The coffee was great and you can drink as much you want.

Stayed 3 nites in the hotel in a very good neighborhood, closed to everything (bus, taxi, fastfood and restaurant) walking distance to Old City. We were welcomed by a friendly staff with bright smile (Ruth) and very helpful Paula who direct us to very good places to eat. We forgot the names of those young men at the front desk and of the one who takes care of our room who are also good. Overall we enjoyed our stay "excellent" in my book.

we spent three nights here last week - the hotel is located on a quiet street in a lovely neighborhood - no problem with on street parking - gem of a hotel - rooms are spacious and comfortable - mattresses are firm - staff attentive and efficient - ample breakfast with good variety and an excellent coffee machine - refrigerator and kettle for tea/coffee in room - towels and linen changed daily - all in all a lovely experience at a reasonable price for Israel, breakfast included - would gladly return
