“Terrible hotel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 days ago NEW via mobile

Terrible hotel, the rooms and bathrooms are not clean and the carpets never vaccuumed.
The staff in the hotel is very rude and not willing to help the hotel guests. When we complained to the manager he was very rude and didn't care about our complaints. We would not recommend choosing this hotel. The food is also very bad.
Stay away from this hotel.

“Excellent”

This was my first trip to Israel and I loved it, we felt so safe and looked after, this is the nicest hotel I've every been too, and we have saved hard for the trip, but we were still looked after as if we were royalty. The views are amazing and at no time did we feel uncomfortable or frightened. The outside areas are fantastic and the pool was perfect.

At the last stop of our trip, we came to stay at the Ramada in Jerusalem. We were delighted to be able to eat American food again. The buffet has a lot of selections every morning and at dinner for everyone.

The hotel lobby is elegant. The rooms were nice for everyone of our group that stayed there. We really enjoyed every night of our stays.

This hotel is not what you would expect for a typical Ramada hotel. The hotel had a beautiful lobby and lots of amenities such as conference rooms, shops and restaurants. I loved the jewelry store in the lobby and would recommend that you check it out once you are there. It was a lot cheaper than the jewelry you got outside in the towns. The buffet breakfast and dinner was exceptional with a wide variety of choices such as salads, soups, entrees and desserts. The hotel was in a good location to most of the major sites in Israel. We were with a tour group so it is difficult to say how close or how far but it is centrally located. The rooms were small and had adjoining rooms where you can hear what is going on next door. Please ask for a room that is not adjoining. We tried but they told us there were none available. There were no coffee maker in the rooms which was strange since this is something you would expect to see. It did not affect us since meals and drinks were included in our package but I just think this should be present in every hotel room. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that is not adjoining to another room.

The Hotel was very clean. Food was good and they had a wide assortment of choices.
The people were very friendly and helpful. Everyone went out of their way to be good to us.
We stayed for 4 nights and they took good care of us- accommodating special requests of ice for ice packs and extra towels. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any of my friends
