“the bast hotel on pasach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

Visiting friends from israel wanted to enjoy Sunday lunch yesterday and therefore I had no hesitation in booking us into the "ramada" The food, service and venue can only be described as first class in every-way. Two of us stayed overnight to enjoy an excellent room and breakfast the following morning. If you have not tried the " ramada pasach experience" then you are missing a treat!!

Bad service, bad elevators, expensive wifi, bad experience with pool and gym. Employees seemed to have no idea what was going on. If the hotel got it together, it has potential to be a nice place. Perhaps I just visited an especially bad week. Regardless, I would not stay there again nor would I recommend it to a friend.

Stayed six nights and was very disappointed in the standard given the name.

Hotel décor generally looks tired.
Curtain falling off
Bath was rusted
TV channels changed nightly (one day sky and then they disappeared - other guests confirmed)
Air conditioning didn't work (other guests confirmed)
Food was at best average - (sometimes cold, sometime reheated especially on Sabbath)
Hot food especially poor (fruit and veg good)
For our convenience hotel removed kettle and condiments one week before passover
Also one week before passover bread and cereals not available
Mainly large tours staying - large numbers using lifts, etc
Pool and leisure facilities were good

Room Tip: The best room is in another hotel!

From the time our VERY LARGE group entered until the day we left this hotel did everything they could to make our stay very nice. They were constantly checking with us to see if they could help in any way. The bread at breakfast and supper was heavenly! I wasn't a big fan of the other food that was offered, but it was more because of a difference in culture than a lack of good food. I was nervous about this hotel because of some reviews that were posted so it was a pleasant surprise! I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: 10th floor

This is a fine hotel for tour groups and business travelers, though somewhat isolated as it is not located in a livelier part of the city. However it is only one block away from the tramline which does go by the old city with stops convenient to the New Gate, Damascus Gate and the Garden Tomb, making it very easy for you to explore the city on your own in your free time. The hotel is also a short taxi ride or a long walk away from the Israel Museum, which is just down Derech Ruppin Road.

The buffet breakfasts and dinners presented for the tour groups are very good with a substantial emphasis on a Mediterranean diet.

Our room was a good size and had a sliding glass door to a tiny balcony, which was useful to regulate the temperature of the room during an unseasonably, warm visit in March. The bathroom had a nice large shower with plenty of hot water. A hairdryer was also provided.

You will have to pay extra Wifi.

Just got back from 7 heavenly days here, there is not one bad thing I can say about the Rama, from the minute we walked into the lobby till the morning we left, the staff are fantastic, the girls in the Ramada pool and rooms are excellent, the guys and girls at the pool bar and the breakfast staff are world class. We stayed in the family room above' and not once were we interrupted by the noise down stairs. The rooms are big with comfortable beds and bedding. The bathroom are spacious and the water pressure is great. Its close to everthing you need in Kuta, I would recommend and stay here in a heart beat......thank you
