“Very accommodating!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

My wife and I had a room on a night that many people were on the street making a racket. We complained and the GM called a few minutes later. She was extremely nice and moved us to a bigger room higher up away from the noise. Aside from that, it was a good hotel, certainly worth the price and in a very convenient location. It's a little hard to find but once you get there it's no problem. My wife and I certainly recommend this hotel.

This was my second time at the Harmony- I stayed for nearly a week. It is a cute hotel in a fantastic location. You are steps away from Ben Yehuda, Jaffa, and King George streets, but since you are not on the main roads it is quieter. The Old City is an easy walk away. The staff couldn't be nicer. My daughter and I accidentally overslept the first morning and they called to say they noticed we hadn't come down yet for breakfast. They asked if if we wanted them to hold breakfast for us so we wouldn't miss it. Breakfast is extensive and absolutely delicious, and they are about to complete a renovation so that it will be even better. Ayala the manager is dynamite, as is the rest of the staff, down to the sweet gentleman who remembered I like a soy cappuccino in the morning and brought it to me as soon as chose my table. I will be back.

I spent a couple nights here to visit Jerusalem, ahead of a business trip in Israel. The location is great: just off the Jaffa Road, a close walk to the Old City, nearby restaurants, and the Mahane Yehuda market up the hill. Jerusalem is expensive for hotels, so this was not cheap, and a pretty small room, but still good value overall. The hotel is on the smaller side, which I like, in a new building. (As others have noted, the ground floor is still under construction, which detracts from the ambiance, but it's not a problem.) The room was fine, and everything worked well. Breakfast (included in my rate) was fine, the usual Israeli "dairy" kosher buffet. There is also an afternoon "happy hour" with free wine and snacks, a nice touch. Service was fine, including a recommendation for Friday dinner, when much of West Jerusalem is shut down for the Sabbath. The hotel would be difficult to find on one's own; it's tucked off the main road by a pedestrian street. The overall ambiance is contemporary and efficient, quite pleasant, but not particularly romantic, charming or luxurious.

This hotel is located off a pedestrian only street in Jerusalem. The staff was excellent, answering questions and calling a taxi for the 5-10 minute ride(traffic-not b/c of distance) to the Old City.
The rooms are serviceable but not large. There is a fridge and kettle in the room. The bathroom is a good size with great water pressure.
There is a evening social hour with wine and juices, fruit, cheeses and crackers.
The breakfast is very good. Choices vary daily which is nice when you stay 4 days. The breads and pastries were delicious.
We enjoyed our stay so much, we extended a day. Highly Recommend.

The Harmony Hotel has an address on a pedestrian only street (with small shops and at least 4 restaurants) that is off a dead end street, but a very small side street a block back from the dead end give direct access to what was an empty ground floor and elevators to the 1st floor reception / lobby / breakfast dining area is. We had a spacious room (#210) that is also the secure room for that floor with a barely noticeable interior metal door between an entry vestibule and the bedroom that has concrete walls. This was variously comforting in the event of serious disturbance from Israel's neighbors and yet ominous. The breakfasts were fine and typical. While there the ground floor was being worked on to become the entry lobby of the hotel with the breakfast dining room there also. As the present lobby and dining area are on the balcony above so it was a bit noisy during breakfast, but obviously a work in progress that should be completed within weeks..

Its a great location with numerous restaurants nearby. One of the best of our Israel travels was an Italian (dairy) restaurant not half a block away out the closed end (no vehicles) of the little side street mentioned above. It is called Picollino and was worthy of the three meals we had there. Wonderful minestrone, different pasta dishes and a pleasant atmosphere. The hotel is also just a block from Ben Yuhada St. with a plethora of shops (I counted 17 shoe store on the two long blocks up from our hotel's cross street) and many shops carrying Jewish items (talit, mezuzah, etc) & other tourist collectibles. Just beyond Ben Yuhada St. is Jaffa Street with the light rail that crosses the City and many more shops.

It is an easy walk to Jaffa Gate to the Old City, passing through a large, modern mall.

Room Tip: I believe that our room #210 or those ending in 10 are the larger rooms on each floor if one is not...

The manager. Ayala, went above and beyond to make our stay nice. She recommended an excellent restaurant called Mantra and had appetizers waiting for us when we arrived. She was helpful with respect to a package we had delivered to the hotel for us. The hotel was in a great location for walking to the Old City and shops and restaurants.

This is a very good hotel for tourists. The rooms are small and there is nearby construction. However, when we inquired, the manager was nice enough to move us to a quieter location that also happened to be a suite. What a treat. The location is excellent. An easy walk to the Jaffa gate and the old city. Just off Ben Yehuda street with its shops and eateries. Breakfast was good and there was a nice happy hour with local wines.
