“Perfect Location, Perfect Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

I booked this hotel for my husband and myself based on the reviews on TripAdvisor. We could not have been happier! The location is fabulous - just a block off Ben Yehudah Street, and only a 15 minute walk to many historical and other interesting sites.

The staff was very helpful and the rooms, while small, had everything we needed, including a refrig.

We highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel lived up to its reviews. The location was convenient and rooms comfortable, although small (more than likely normal for the area). They breakfasts were fresh with a nice selection of various foods. There was a bit of late night street noise from the area bars, but again normal for the immediate neighborhood. Will stay again.

It's been two years since my last stay at the Harmony Hotel in Jerusalem. I was certain, with the impending visit of President Obama, that Jerusalem's (hands down) best hotelier, ESTI, would have been snatched up by the King David Hotel!

Esti is a gem that the Harmony Hotel has somehow managed to keep for a number of years. She provides guests with an incredibly pleasant and helpful stay at a wonderful small boutique hotel in the middle of everything in Jerusalem.

Great breakfast and cocktail hour in the lounge. Rooms are small but clean and well maintained.

A great place to stay in Jerusalem if you want to be in walking distance of many sights, shopping, and night life.

All the staff is great but Esti exceeds them all.

Very good location, friendly and very helpful staff, good breakfast choice.
A little bit noisy at night, though - as water running in other rooms can be easily heard. Also, in my room the windows did not close properly.

The location of this hotel is outstanding, and for the price and overall quality/service it probably deserves it's #1 rating on Trip Advisor.compared with other options in Jerusalem,

But, be prepared, the rooms are SMALL - reminded me of a mid-level hotel room in London. Bed and bathroom are okay - relatively basic. The breakfast is very nice - wish it went to 10:30 or 11am, but 10am seems to be standard in Israel.

I'd recommend for location and valule if you're staying 1 - 3 nights. More than that, it'd begin to get a bit claustrophobic.

The hotel is very clean, perhaps immaculate. However, the rooms are ultra-small.

Here is the strange portion that's kind of weird: When you walk into the hotel, you really walk into the vacant lobby of a building that's intended for multiple uses. It takes a second to figure out that you have to go upstairs to get to the hotel's lobby. The hotel is down a bit of an alley. I don't know how safe the neighborhood is, but you have to be buzzed into the hotel (to get into the vacant lobby). Although the neighborhood seemed fine to me, the whole buzz-in thing suggests I wouldn't want my kids or wife staying there alone.

It's a 10 minute walk from the old city and there are lots of good shops/restaurants around. It's a nice location.
