“good hotel in the best location of the city haifa”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014

we stayed at the hotel for 3 nights with 2 kids. the food was very good, even when it had to be "kosher" for passover. the stuff was friendly and helping, especially around the lobby and dining room. the hotel is situated on amazing spot on the beach main walkway where you can take 2 minutes walk to the beach or the restorants and clubs beside it. it's a great place to the sports and water sports lovers (windsurfing, sup, surfing etc.).

We got the lux room, a big room with soace for us and for our 2 children, clean and include a mini kitchen. We had a wonderful view of the sea and we could just jump to the seashore in 5 min. We stayed at this hotel for the weekend. The room was OK, but the food was disgusting. "Kosher" for Passover, entire week before the holiday!
No bread... "Oriental" food with terrible taste. Hairs within the salads.
Keep away.

We received a friendly welcome at reception and as members of the group's Shamaim Club we were upgraded to a suite. As it was my husband's birthday they also brought fruit to the room and a present of a gift wrapped towel. After such a great reception it seems a bit churlish to complain but there were one or two things that spoiled the experience. Although we had booked bed and breakfast we were told by reception that if we wanted to eat in the dining room that it was not necessary to book, just to turn up and give our room number and the cost would be added to our bill. We felt very uncomfortable when we presented ourselves at the dining room and were told that we were not on the list and the girl on the desk didn't seem to know what to do. We decided not to make a fuss and went out to eat. There was nowhere to sit outside except a small area near the covered swimming pool, which we were told was going to be renovated. The pool guy dragged two sun loungers out into this area for us with a big smile but the area wasn't really pleasant to sit in. We were also disappointed at the lack of a hotel shop bearing in mind that there are no shops nearby to buy small things like tissues (not provided in the room) and newspapers. These small negatives prevented me from giving the hotel full marks.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor as there is a main road and a railway running by

We stayed last weekend at Laorendo Haifa and I must say we enjoyed very much. Great service, amazing views and good atmosphere. Importantly, the better the staff courteous and warm. It is highly recommended!!!

Room Tip: Corner suites are large and sunny"

We recently spent a week end at the Leonardo hotel in Haifa. Great location - easy access to anywhere in Haifa. We thought the hotel was wonderful. All staff encountered seemed to have a genuine passion for service and the attention detail was most impressive. The beds were awesome, the people were exceptional and the food was very delicious. Room service prompt and actually served hot .We would highly recommend this hotel. It is located on the sea beach and we were able to walk to our morning and evening promenade. The hotel has a cozy feeling to it and is very comfortable. We absolutely had a unforgettable stay and can't wait to return!
