“Great place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

We popped in on 27 December 2013 at lunchtime.
This place located in Haifa. Great spot for locals and for tourists. On top of it: the pub/ restaurant is a "must visit" for every trip you make up to Haifa.
Quick service, Fairley priced great atmosphere, cool place and fantastic design!
The food and the beer were very tasty!
Should be defiantly included in your trip to Haifa.

Run for it!

“old fashion pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2013

With a large selection of alcohols and delicious food that goes very good with it. The place was open in 1962 as the workers restaurant, for many years was closed at 5pm, but now you have one day, Tuesday, open till midnight.

“beer in Haifa”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

A relaxed, fun place. I found the food too salty but that's probably just the nature of that cuisine -- eastern european smoked meats.

“Good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2013

Had a lunch during our trip to haifa.
Had a great chopped liver and ikra salad.
Then had krepalach that were delicious.
The only disappointment was the kishke who was really dry inside and not so tasty.
Service is not friendly and unprofessional but it's forgiven .

“Eastern-European fat food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

Critics relate to the "beer fountain" as either excellent or shallow rated food. Visiting the joint for the third time revealed the reason: traditional and tasty recipes, served in a careless manner. The house specialty, the Kostiza, a smoked lamb has 90% fat. I could handle so much fat. The smoked pork, served with Garlic was less fat. The stater, liver with onions was delicious. Service was so-so and the beer was ok. Bottom line: great place for east-European or skinny girls looking to get some fat on their bones.
