“PURE BLISS”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

Sitting down under the shady trees at a place called Douzan Café on Ben Gurion Street in Haifa is always the most wonderful, pleasant and relaxing experience! Recently enjoyed yet another spectacular lunch at Douzan Café with our friends from Washington D.C.

Every dish is an explosion of taste - the traditional style platters are the best and you cannot leave Douzan without enjoying at least one kubbeh. Every sip of lemonade with crushed ice and mint takes on literally to the herb garden and lemon orchid!

The service is friendly and homely - yet extremely professional! Looking forward to our next meal at Douzan Café!

I went on Friday night to Celebrate my brother birthday. The restaurant is very clean and nice, friendly waters and the food is delicious.

“Decent enough”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

Four of us went for a meal on a Friday evening. Friendly staff and owner came and said 'hello'. There were difficulties in remembering our orders, but the food was decent enough although beers were rather short on selection and you are reliant on the waiter's memory for the wine list. Seemed reasonable in price and food was typical of restaurants in the area. We were slightly unlucky to be near the speaker, which was a little noisy, especially every time it played 'Happy birthday', which was four times, perhaps reflecting the popularity of the place for friends and family.

“A parade of charmed tastes and flavors”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

again on my way to a fashion show in Israel I had to visit my favourite restaurant in Israel Douzan. nested in between two ancient olive trees, The fantastic abience and the flavor of different languages and different international dishes, all harmonized in one gorgeous place. Beside the great service and the special care of the owner Fadi Najjar the food is as always amazing where East meets West. Great place...
