I suggest that any review of less than 5 stars be ignored. The hotel is a delight, set in the forest overlooking the Kineret. The staff are charming and helpful, with genuine smiles and a desire to help you enjoy yourself. The bedroooms are very spacious and comfortable, with a nice big telly. The breakfasts are sensational - have the Mhalabe if you have never tried it before. The spa treatments were first class (even if the treatment room was a bit spartan). What we liked in particular were the touches of decadence - for example, there is a little fireplace in the lobby where, after dinner, a tray of delicious baklava is put out, and old copper coffee pots are left in the embers to keep hot. You can help yourself to this, and to the 24/7 cakes and herbal teas, for free. The food really is wonderful. If you want a chamomile tea, you help yourself from a large earthenware bowl of chamomile flowers. Real class.
The pool is beautiful, with great views. No children, so it's really peaceful.
We were so well looked after, and will certainly come back.
