“Beautiful Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

It's a beautiful canyon, a short trip close to Eilat. You walk in the canyon, around you is red sand & rocks, stripes of many colors. The walk is easy, even children's can do it

“Amazing hike”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

Must visit if you are in Eilat. We were there just before sunset and catch amazing colours and shadows, from orange to pink and red. You are walking through spectacular narrow path between the smooth read walls, simply beautiful nature creation.
The walk is short, but you need to have some basic climbing skills to get down. Also, I think that overweighted people will have hard time there to get through. If you are picking the short walk (green then black trails at the end of the canyon), make sure you are not scare from heights - because the black trail is pretty extreme, doesn't suits for the small kids and older people.

“Fascinating! A few tips though...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

This is a short but and relatively easy hike through some fascinating nature. At some places you literally have to squeeze through the narrow ravine. As a hobby photographer, I normally avoid mid day because of the flat and boring light, but this ravine is so steep that you should prefer mid day, to have some exciting lights and shadows getting all the way down the ravine walls.
You find it after km marker 17 or 18, but the road down to the parking is a gravel road, which our rental car agreement did not permit us to use. It is easy to park at the exit off of road 12 instead and walk the maybe 1-2 kms down to the parking lot, or you can easily drive down there without damaging your car. You MUST be fully functional in your legs and arms to go here, although railings and grips have been placed whereever needed.

“Fantastic experience”

Drive 20 mins fro Eilat and experience raw nature. We walked 1-1,5 hours and enjoyed all the breathtaking beauties of nature.
