“Still the best attraction in Eilat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

I love this place, the diving, the beach, and the relaxation pools. One thing I do not like is some of the staff can be abrasive. Its a magical atmosphere and wins me over every time never the less. My diving instructor this time was PHENOMENAL, (alex), he had the dolphins swimming right next to me and it was amazing!! I also got a great one on one session in the relaxation pools with Reut and think everyone should try it!

“"Relaxation Pools" Dolphin Reef Eilat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

This is the ideal place to relax an unwind. Entrance to the pools is through the Dolphin reef Beach (entry fee to the pools includes day's entrance to the beach.) Three heated pools invite the visitor to relax and float away all tensions. Relaxation exercises are given by trained therapists in a pool of sea water with piped music under the water, the 2nd is a fresh-water pool and the third a pool of high-concentration salt water (much like that of the Dead Sea). Entrance fee includes 2 hours in the pools with relaxation exercises of various durations plus freshly sqeezed orange juice, tea , coffee, wine and snacks.
Although expensive, it's a unique experience, and I think worth the money. Prior booking necessary,

“Scuba with Dolphins”

This was a great experience. My instructor was excellent and it is totally suited to beginners. The facility also had heated therapy pools which were private and lovely.

“fun in the sun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

great place, go and dive with the dolphins, swim and enjoy the sun and not to forget great food, easy to reach by car, taxi or local tranportation and if its not too warm, a nice walk from the hotel area to the reef.

“Amazing experience with dolphins up close”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

We are a family of 5 (including 3 boys pre-teen and teens) who booked the Intro Dive with Dolphins. Each family member got their own private instructor, which allowed all of us to proceed at our own pace in the water. The guides are exceptionally nice and patient, both with the adults and the kids. They give you a short review on how to operate the scuba gear (repeating instructions constantly to make sure the beginners understand) and then lead you to the protected cove where the dolphins hang out.

Almost as soon as you are swimming, the dolphins come right up to the you and the guides and start frolicking right around you, practically begging you to touch them. Unfortunately, the guides stress that only they can touch the dolphins underwater, which made us jealous of them ... but small price to pay for the incredible proximity to them, observing their playful nature.

The dolphins seemed to particularly be fond of Alex (one of the guides), who oftern had 3 or 4 dolphins lolling around him to be scratched like puppies! But all of the guides did great work with our family. Afterwards, you can hang out on these extended floating docks, where the dolphins come up to view the observers (who is the observer and who's being observed?). Interestingly enough, you are allowed to touch the dolphins when you're out of the water and if they come up t you.

For an extra fee they will take pictures and even video of you underwater with the dolphins - a memento you can't get any other way.

The prices are high but this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime activity (unless you come back again!).
