“Standard Apartment”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2014

We stayed here in Eilat for one night (we booked a tour leaving from Eilat to Petra) and the room was comfortable for 3 travelers. The AC works well and is very important as Eilat is extremely hot in the summer. The fridge did not work well even though we left it on the coldest setting and the bathroom door did not fit in the doorway (so it would not close). The beach is nearby, about a 10 minute walk. When booking, I did not realize that you have to contact the property in advance to set up a check in time (not a traditional hotel). We flew in from Tel Aviv and arrived early - about 0830AM. I don't think there is someone consistently on the property. I called the reception number and there was no answer so I waited with our bags in the common area while the two other travelers went to the beach for a while. Someone called back 2 hours later and came to the property to help check me in. We were able to get our room earlier than the 3pm check-in time. Overall, the experience was okay and served its purpose as a base for our Petra tour. Eilat is definitely worth a visit as the beach is really nice and we wish we had more time here.

We stayed in a 3-person suite (one double bed and one pull-out sofa). It was clean and comfortable. The hotel was easy to find, with convenient parking available for free. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside might be the location. It is not close enough to walk to attractions or restaurants. Luckily we had a rental car, so this was not an issue. We stayed two nights so that we could do a day trip to Petra. It was perfect in price and comfort for this purpose.

Our family stayed for 2 nights in the suites (as pictured on profile). They were so beautiful, clean, and fully functional! The suites were nice a private with a BBQ grill, patio furniture, and cushioned lawn chars. All amenities: tv, shower, sink, fridge, sink, ect. all were in perfect working condition. I slept on the couch in the living room and it was super comfortable! Really impressed by this place, i'd recommend staying in the suite.

Room Tip: stay in the Suite! It's very private.

We were looking for a small place in Eilat to avoid the very large hotels and chose this one. The place is not quite as the pictures show. The check in process is not very smooth and the lady not too friendly either. The room was small: it was divided in a living room area and a bedroom area making both tiny. The bed was as wide as the room so can only jump in from the front, no space at all on the sides. Forget living space outdoor, the garden you see in the pictures is not realistic of the current status. We used this as a base to go to Jordan for a tour and, for that, it may be ok, although now I would search for a different place. If you plan staying a week or so in Eilat, look elsewhere (and also think whether it is worth going there at all, because other than access to Jordan and to diving in the Red Sea, Eilat has not much else to offer).

The staff was very friendly. Suite had place to fix snacks and breakfast. Very clean. I was glad to have help with the bags because there is no elevator. It was the perfect stopover for my trip to Petra which was arranged for us by the staff. Cab drivers had no problem finding the hotel

Room Tip: Lower floor because there was no elevator

Spacious bedroom, large wardrobe, modern living room with flat screen TV, clean renovated bathroom, well furnished patio. Large space with kitchen facility, sink and micro. Helps any guest
feel comfortable, sitting in the patio and having a small meal in your 'Home from Home'. Quite area and friendly staff. WiFi that never faltered. What more can one ask for a modest price.

Room Tip: All the rooms of the same good quality

We were staying overnight, because of our tour of Petra in Jordan. Our first challenge was finding the place. The directions given to us appeared to have been Google translated from Russian and were ineffective at best. After we finally found the place we had to get our key from the lock box, as the office is closed after 9 pm. We were greeted by a clowder of cats, a few of which were not friendly. The place smelled of them which was revolting. The suite was basic. The only modern device was the television which was never used. The beds were cheap and uncomfortable. To the end of our days we will laugh at the name of this place. Those who gave this place 4 or 5 stars are either shilling for the owner or had very low expectations. We found the place repugnant. When we left, the office wasn't open, so we returned the key to the lock box. I will give the place 2 stars because we were able to park our rental car in front of the place while were away on our tour.

Room Tip: Stay if you must, avoid if you can.
