We have just returned from our 11 night stay here 18-30 August(family of 4 with 2 teenagers). After we had booked we spoke to several people who had been here in previous years so expectations were pretty high. Unfortunately these were not met.
The holiday overall was ok however for the cost of the holiday and previous reviews something is amiss. This is our 3rd all inclusive holiday through first choice and has to be the least all inclusive ever, lots of hidden costs including ice cream ( only available as part of your package at lunch time but not told this till after we had been charged 9 lira to our room for 2 cones), a decent alcoholic drink - 12 lira (£4) per cocktail, food and drink inside the water park (a hotel bar / food hall is just outside the entrance to the pool though) and a few more to boot.
The quality of the drinks ( soft and alcoholic ) is very poor, fizzy being the exception, all made from a strong syrup that leaves a nasty taste. The food was very average and meal times (peoples spacial awareness and manners seemed to disappear) were an experience I dreaded to the point of happily paying to go into the town to pay for a civilised meal (at an extra cost of course, £30 return taxi, no free transport to the nearest town unless booking with a certain restaurant which was well worth it)
The cleanliness of the hotel was only skin deep, lots of sweeping of floors and cleaning of glass but no deep clean or use of disinfectant and considering there is a virus / bug going around this was very surprising, hand sanitizer was put up at the entrance of the food halls.
As for the bug, it was apparent there was an illness in the hotel yet no mention of it by the reps at the meeting. A heads up would have been good.
The main pool was closed several times for hygiene reasons, on one occasion we saw a small child soil in the pool, there was no enforcement of the swimming nappies rule - however this responsibility should be with the parents! On some days there was an unpleasant smells around the toilet areas of the pool and the ponds.. For parents with children in the clubs the adult only pool is peaceful and a pure god send. You are not supposed to put towels on the sun beds by the pool before 9am, by 8am the majority had towels on. Even when the pools were empty we were unable to get beds on some days due to people putting towels on beds in the sunny spots as well as in the shaded areas, ie families of 4 had up to 8 beds!
The beach is ok and not too busy but the sea is not too nice, if swimming walk down the pier and climb down the steps, the first 3 metres of the sea from the beach is like walking through a thick soup but then clears.
There are positives for the resort, it is well laid out and spacious with lots of pools. The entertainment for children was very popular and always full. There was plenty to do for people of all ages and the beach parties are well worth of a visit. The resort had professional acts in the evenings which were very good. The entertainment team were great and very hard working.the food hall staff are friendly and helpful, bar staff at the beach bar by far the friendliest of the bars. We had booked 2 rooms and requested they were near each other, the hotel met our requirement and we were next door to each other.
The water park is good fun,get there early, it opens earlier for guests of the hotel, it gets busy once opened to the public.
All in all we enjoyed our holiday and were lucky enough not to catch the virus going around but at no point was it a personal experience, it's a very well oiled money making machine. Families with pre teens would get the best value for their money. I personally think we overpaid.

Thank you very much for writing such a very clear descriptive review on Trip Advisor. I am very happy to read you liked our layout, our pools, our entertainment, our staff, as well as the service.
Regarding our all-inclusive concept i believe this is clearly communicated in all the promotional material about the hotel and the brochure/web description.
Our pools and Aqua Park all adhere to the highest level of health and safety rules very strictly. We do this out of respect for the safety of our guest’s health. From time to time there are some accidents in the pools, as you know the hotel has 4 swimming pools, 2 indoor pools, 2 kid’s pools, a beach, and the entire Aquapark for guests to easily spend their day in the water. However, we do apprecaite that guests quite often have their favourite pool that they like to visit.
In order to remain more vigilant in this matter, we are now informing all families with small children that swim nappies must be worn before their toddlers enter the pool. These are also being made available in the hotel shop. In matters such as the above we are very much reliant on the cooperation of our in house guests.
For any future Aqua Fantasy guests reading, this please share any issues or comments with us as they arise and give us the opportunity to assist you as much as we can to make your stay as enjoyable and as comfortable as possible.
Thank you once again we look forward to meeting you both again in the near future.
My kind regards,
