Stayed at ANZ Guesthouse for two nights and wish we could stay longer. The place is so friendly, with the owners and staff going out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The place was very social and some great yarns get spun on the top terrace. Great price, clean, comfortable and extremely friendly. Look no further for a place to stay.

I had such a fantastic stay at ANZ I extended my stay for two more nights. Mehmet is hilarious!! The atmosphere is peaceful and friendly, facilitating good interaction among guests. Mehmet was extremely helpful at coordinating tours for me, and was truly present while interacting with everyone. One more thing, breakfast by Ibrahim is out of this world!!

I spent one night here with my girlfriend. Price was reasonable, location is quite good, although it was a bit hard to get it at the beginning. They should put some signals on its way. Atmosphere was good, full of different people of various ages.

The hostel itself is decent - clean and comfortable rooms, but quite small. What is leading me to write this review however is the helpfulness of the staff who go out of their way to help. After arriving early on a cold morning we were able to use the room straight away, and after forgetting to collect our laundry on the day we left someone from the hostel remembered where we said we were going and delivered our freshly folded laundry to the correct office at the bus station. This was despite the fact that in forgetting to collect the laundry we also didn't pay for it, so thank you very much and sorry for the inconvenience!!

This is a great hostel. I feel like it was really good value for money. After 2 years of travel, it is the attention to detail that separates a great hostel from an average one. The rooms were clean, finished, nicely decorated. Towels included, good hot water, good wifi, a nice chill out area, yummy breakfast, friendly staff. The rooftop has a really nice view and for any cycle tourists, there is somewhere safe to (without stairs) to put your bike. We paid 30 TL per person for a 3 bed room in the off season.

Pros:
- the beds and linens are very comfortable. My husband and I and our baby had the best sleep of our trip here, on this double bed.

- first bathroom I came across in Turkey, where the bathroom smelled clean and fresh, without that mild sewage smell.

- guesthouse staff/owners work very hard all day and are very kind/friendly. They even provided us with a lovely playpen with kid style linens and blankets for our little one.

- it's well located with signs all around.

- stunning terrace! You can't beat the view of the Artemis Temple and the mountains.

- free tea all day! Really great way to refresh after a long day.

Cons:

- the walls are thin, so you can always hear people outside, talking, walking in and out and opening their doors. It does make it difficult to sleep.

- our room didn't have any closet or side table, so limited storage space. It was also very small.

- the heater was very spotty. Some nights the room got very cold, in spite of having the heater on and turned up.

- not much items or variety in the breakfast buffet.
