Soon after my arrival I could see behind the desk a big portrait of the owner.Tom, the owner keep this picture in the middle of reception.Really, I undestood all about this place and about the owner. He is too good , too nice, too perfect to work here.
Well, this isn't a hotel, just a overpriced hostel for backpackers.Excelent location, behind a mosque, it's impossible to sleep after 5 A.M.
I can't believe how dirty rooms and corridors are in there.Dirty carpets everywhere, in the rooms, in the corridors. My first room 203 was awful.Dirty carpets, grey towels, old furniture.A smelling old bathroom without hot water.Ten minutes later I asked to change, it was impossible to stay here more.He gaved me room 205, with dusty floor , hard bed, poor light.Another small bathroom with a little heater. No soap or shampoo. The shower was too little, enough for a pet , but not for an adult. The water pressure was really poor, too cold or too hot without any reason. In two days it was impossible to wash my hair or to take a normal hot shower.
Poor breakfast, nothing special.Boiled eggs, chemical cocktail 3 in 1 instead of coffee.Second day I must to insist for natural coffee and omelette.
But the worst part of this hostel with the price of three stars hotel is the staff.Totally unprofessional and very pretentious staff.Tom, the first owner is very aggresive and versatile. His nervous wife speaks too loud and too much..Another owner cannot speak English language. All of the staff were not friendly.
There is no lift.No facilities for tourists. They have wifi but Tom gave me a wrong password, [--] instead [--].In my first day it was impossible to connect my laptop.Later, it was possible to write an email for booking.com.My reservation was confirmed using this site. They contacted the owner but he wrote something about my absence inside his hotel. How was possible? They practiced enormous prices for this dirty hostel, 25 euro for a night. It was necessary to insist for a receipt.
Of course, I refused to buy here expensive tour for Ephesus, 50 euro.Better to take a dolmus for 2,5 TL one way.Transfer for the Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport is just 3 TL(dolmus)+10TL taxi for the last kilometer, instead 54 euro.Overall, I didn't like the hostel at all.The reviews written here seemed unreal.Tom, the owner asked me about trip advisor.I promised to write my opinion. This is an honest review, not a fake.
