Ephesus is an amzing experience. It is not like, it iS walking back into time. I come from Australia and we have a very young recorded history. Appararently our indegenous population goes back a while, in fact they claim to be one of the oldest races of people in the world today, which kinda makes sense, they are all pretty Neanderthal like, dumb as crap and dog ugly. When I was walking through Ephesus I kept thinking that this was a history that went back thousands of years, you could walk on it, you could sit on it, you could could stand on it, you could pretty much do what ever you wanted to do on it. You coud touch a 2000 year old sculpture and nobody gave a hoot. What amazes me is the Aus abos scream land claim just because a bunch of bones are found in some shi#ty little corner of nowhere. The place goes into lock down, we the Aus taxpayer pay MILLIONS $$$$ for a land claim case, the abos get title but then the taxpayer again has to pay the ongoing rates, insurances, taxes etc etc. And what is their claim to the land? They built nothing, they contributed nothing, they gave nothing to the land, they were here today and then gone tomorrow, but we still have to recognise native title. WTF!
