“Use Your Imagination”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2014

Since there is but one of the original 128 columns still standing one must try to imagine what this enormous temple looked like. It would have covered a football field and and was not far from the shoreline. Now that shore is long since silted up as is the shoreline of Ephesus. So not a great deal to see here but the history of the place is intriguing.

“Little to see”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2014

What a shame that all that stands of one of the Seven Wonders is a cobbled-together column. There is little chance that there will ever be any more, but it is hard to pass up the opportunity to see the location of something like this temple.
A little more information on the site would make the visit a little more worthwhile.
There is no charge for entry and except for a few souvenir touts, you are likely to have the place to yourself. Reading about he temple before going would help understand the past magnificence of the site.

“If you like Ruins.....”

Not much to see here. I think that time could be better spent but if you want to see it for the historical purpose of saying you've been there, go ahead!

“Not worth the time”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2014

We went here because of the biblical reference but it is just a column. Not worth the time. Their is a good view of a castle in the background.

“Nothing to see!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2014

The temple is non-existent now. There stands just one pillar. The rest's gone. So, you are pretty much done in 5 mins. The only reason it gets visitor is probably because it's included in all the standard tours. Save yourself the botheration and just read about the place rather than visiting it.
