“A pillar with a lot of History”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

The only thing left of what was one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world is all that is left. So if you want to say that you where here and you saw it, even took a snapshot of it... Well go.

If it's too hot and you already walked for hours in one of the most impressive ancient Roman Cities (Ephesus), the don't bother.

“Only one Pillar left ...of a place with Long History”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013 via mobile

From the point of just sight seeing the place is ok because theres no entry fee.But theres nothing much left to see except the single pillar and some stagnant water. But I really admire our guide Salem from Mislena tours who narrated the long history very precisely.

“A lonely site”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

It's hard to imagine that this was once one of the seven wonders of the world. All that remains is one pillar in an open grassy field. Our tour did not bother to get out to walk up to the site. However our tour guide pointed out the harmony of religions surrounding the pillar. There is a mosque, a Christian church and a fortress on the hillside. Apparently one of the attractions in the area are the storks that migrate here and nest.

“Temple of Artemis only left a Pillar”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

If you don't know about this place, can give a miss as the ruins only left 1 pillar still surviving and the place is run down as no one is maintaining it.

But if you still want to go, best is go with tour group as it is just a 5 min walk to the Pillar.

No Facilities/ WC around it.
