We found the charming old Greek village of Selcuk in Turkey at lunchtime and discovered this wonderful little restaurant with a wood fired oven making pizza. We watched our pizza being hand rolled, and the fresh squeezed pomegranate juice was a strangely wonderful beverage that went well with the pizza. For dessert I asked if the baklava was home made and when the cook said yes we decided to share a slice. There was a bird cage up on the wall and steps on one side of the restaurant that I think let to upstairs living quarters. The quality do the food was very good, fresh and tasty, the decor was nothing to speak of but how I wish I could have that pizza again!
