Was here during my visit of Ephesus. Definitely a place to visit and drink a coffe or eat a Swiss Röschti! Close to the St. John's Church.

“Lovely atmosphere here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

We spent an enjoyable afternoon in St. Johns sitting outside chatting to the owners Doris and Mihil. It was just so nice to get a good strong cup of coffee and the humus and brown bread was beautiful. They also have a really good selection of books on Turkish Historical sites. I will definitely be to back next time I am in Selcuk.

“Nice European-style cafe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

Went here for an espresso. The drinks were a bit pricy, but a nice change from Turkish and apple tea. The atmosphere is very relaxing and I read my book here for a while. A nice place to chill out after seeing Ephesus.

“Best Coffee in town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

If you go to Selcuk I would highly recommend you check out this little Cafe! The couple that run this place are the nicest people around. The coffee is amazing especially with a touch of cream! =)

“St. John's gets it just right: perfect for brunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

While staying in Selcuk for three days, we fell totally in love with this incongruous little cafe with its very European, minimalist ambiance, and ate here repeatedly. The prices are unbeatable, and the owner is a chocolate lover, so bring him chocolate! He will treat you like royalty if you do! We spent a lot of time enjoying speaking with him. It's with good reason that people from around the world send him post cards after leaving. This restaurant is great because its owner really likes the people who come in. The menu is small, but everything is quite tasty and freshly prepared within view, and the coffee is perfect. It feels like being at a friend's home. Definitely do eat here if you're in Selcuk. It may not seem like much at first, but go more than once and you will be hooked by its charm.
