We stayed at the Ephesus Princes after our hotel was overbooked - and this was the best thing that could ever have happened to us! Super-luxurious hotel, huge suite with its own, private balcony over the amphi-theatre with nightlx performances. Food is great, plentiful and carying. It's located high above the sea, so it's never too hot, and there is a shuttle-service if you don't want to walk the steps up to the hotel again (we used the service extensively ;)). It's also easy to hire a car to have a look at the surrounding sights.
There is a free shuttle to and from Kusadasi's central bazar, which is also very cool!

I have today returned from this hotel which I booked over a year ago and we had all been looking forward too. There are some good and bad bits, we checked in at midnight which was very efficient, we had booked to stay in a villa but the receptionist informed us that they had moved us to the hotel which I was pleased about as we had interconnecting rooms, they were very spacious, clean and towels were changed everyday, we had amazing views looking over the bay and pool area, bearing in mind this was half term week, the hotel was about a quarter full, the week before over-booked apparantly, as this hotel closes from 1st November we felt like they were packing away before our very eyes, no entertainment, no activities whatsoever, my kids are aged 14 and 12 and as we only went for a week swimming kept them occupied and the billiards room, the food was awful, cold, boring, nothing for kids and the choices terrible, I stopped eating dinner there from tuesday as I got such a bad stomach upset it put me off eating anything apart from salad and bread, the smell made me feel sick. Kusadasi itself was a lovely place and Ephesus is a must to visit. We have visited Turkey before but its the last holiday we shall be having there, it was a break but definately not 5 star, also they have a la carte restaurants which you can book but because they were so quiet they cancelled peoples bookings!!!, we paid good money and we did not get everything we were entitled too, a bit of a rip off really, although out holiday rep Rebecca was lovely and very helpful.

Having stayed in numerous hotel's all across turkey, im pretty familiar the whole hotel set up, when my husband booked this hotel i was abit apprehensive as i thought i looked abit out of date but although this is true for the price we payed i wasn't expecting the Hilton hotel! When we arrived they only had one young man to ferry all of our luggage and ourselves in a rather run down van to our apartments, having there been 20 of us at about 3am it was quite a wait to get to our rooms and get some kip before our first morning!

The weather was absolutely fantastic 30+ everyday, and there was plenty to do for our 16+17 year old they said they were never bored once, they also got adult wrist bands so they could get alcohol when they wanted although at first i thought they were going to go mad, but i didn't mind it when they could go up to the bar for me while i was sun bathing! however i didn't see them much, they were either on the beach playing darts, on the kayaks, pedalo's, playing volleyball, they had everything!!! pool games, ice cream, ping pong, bowls. they even had a disco for them witch i was very happy with i could trust them to go and i new they would be back in the room for the latest 3am.

On holiday you always want to socialize with other people and we ended up meeting another couple and there children, they all made loads of friends who they stay in touch with everyday! the staff at the hotel were told they could not communicate with the young girls so they didn't really speak to you that much witch i actually missed because in other hotels some waiters or waitress's would learn your name and communicate with you, but they did not say a world, however to say the least it was a fantastic holiday! defiantly looking to go back next year!

Anything that could make the hotel better:
- update beds in rooms, make them more personal instead of plain white wash walls.
- more storage in rooms 4 adults ( single wardrobe? )
- staff could be more friendly
- make the gardens around the hotel abit more presentable.
- update dining areas.

Room Tip: the higher you were the better the view, the lower the less the walk.

This was our third consecutive holiday here and I must say it gets better every year , the flight , transfer , and booking in at reception were all smooth as per usual . The rooms in the villa are comfy and very clean . The end of the day you only use the room to sleep and shower before going out again but yes there is moaning idiots that cry because they haven't got full sky channels in there rooms lol idiots . The amazing thing is seeing people you've made friends with have been using this hotel for the past couple of years and that they will be here next year when we return .
The reception and shops and reception bar are very clean and welcoming ( we managed to be the last people in the bar on a few nights , the staff supply you with plenty of cocktails and take time to get to know you and make sure your having a good time ) you'll find this the same at the pool bar , disco and the beach bar ( they are all very friendly ) .
The restaurants are very clean and tidy with an abundance of fresh salads , breads and local and European foods all very nice . The pool bar and snack bar are very nice as well with burgers , chips , hotdogs , salad and sometimes kebab meats on offer during the day then at 5 o'clock the biscuits and cakes come out mmmmm.
The beach bar and food bar are excellent with plenty of different foods on offer with the fish bar my favourite ( deep fried fish with salad ) unbelievable tastes .
The beach is very clean with plenty of sun beds for everyone with lots of activities at hand ie jet skis , banana boat , canoes , sailing , paragliding and more .
Now for the staff = the staff are amazing , some of them remembered us from our first visit and are very helpfull and actually enjoy talking to you as a person not a customer , the best staff members mainly bar staff and the animation team inanç , ju ju , dj inis , sacha , Mellor and OKAN a very nice group of people that do a very good job to entertain and keep the hotel residents happy , we were very impressed and made good friends with most of these people namely inanç and OKAN .
We have been back in England now for two weeks now and have just booked for our fourth time at this hotel and are hoping to see some newly made friends again in August next year ,
My recommendation is if you want a very relaxing holiday with everything you need at hand then this hotel is the one for you

Soo..if you really really wanna check in at this hotel and don't know a bit of turkish,u really need to buy yourself a turkish language guide cause most of the staff here don't even know the basic english words.
The Animation Team..could make theyr job better(i was 2 times at Surmeli(it's the hotel next to Ephesus Princess),u can see it from your balcony) and i can say that the animation guys from there were simply awesome! i could go there just to see them if i had the ocassion again...everything else was ok..the hotel is very clean,so the rooms..the food was great, everyday, different dish.
The conclusion after 10 days of vacation at Ephesus Princess...So and so ;)...

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ephesus Princess via Thomas Cook. Transfer by coach took a little over an hour each way and we didn’t have to stop off or pick up from other hotels on the way. We stayed for a week from 5 September and although we expected to be allocated one of the “villas” on the clifftop we were given a room in the main hotel building on the 7th floor with a balcony and sea view. We had easy access to all the facilities and never waited too long for the lift. Although there were a lot of steps to the beach the views were magnificent! The British guests were in the minority here, other guests coming from all over Europe, Russia and Turkey. All the staff spoke English. The hotel wasn’t full because the school holidays had ended so we didn’t have to queue for anything and had no problem finding sunbeds by the pool or on the beach. The weather was hot (over 30 degrees all day long) but there was a lovely sea breeze. I swam in the pool every day, we enjoyed a Turkish Bath and massage in the hotel spa. We enjoyed the hotel meals - going all inclusive is so easy. We tried the Italian and the Mediterranean a la Carte - both were excellent. There was a reasonable choice of drinks at the bars and we particularly liked the milky coffees. Cold drinks were replenished daily in our mini bar. There were no shops nearby but there is a hotel shop where newspapers, sweets, gifts, etc are available. We didn’t have any problems with tummy upsets for the whole of our stay. We went on the Jeep Safari and enjoyed having a day trip into the mountains with lunch included and before returning to the hotel we stopped at a nice sandy beach along the coast for a swim in the sea. We took the Dolmus from the hotel into Kusadasi on two occasions and the fares were very reasonable. We also made our own way to Ephesus on the Dolmus (entrance fee paid in Turkish Lira) and this worked out far cheaper than going on an organised excursion. It was packed with tourists – cruise ships dock in Kusadasi for the passengers to spend the day at Ephesus. The evening entertainment wasn’t very good at the hotel although the animation team tried hard to please. We enjoyed the Turkish night and we found the Lobby bar pleasantly cool for drinks in the evenings. Some guests had encountered problems with mosquito bites but we used a plug-in insect repellent in our room every night, kept the windows closed and never saw any mosquitoes. The air con was centrally controlled and was only switched on at certain times but we were able to borrow an electric fan and slept well each night, despite being able to hear the music at the hotel next door. We had to ask the maid to supply a top sheet – we certainly didn’t need the blankets supplied! The room was spacious and comfortable with a King size bed and a single bed, a small sofa, a table and plenty of wardrobe space. I would recommend the hotel as long as you don’t have any mobility issues. We probably wouldn’t go again but mainly because we like to try a different hotel each holiday but we would visit Turkey again because of the climate and the friendliness of the Turkish people.

Room Tip: All rooms have a sea view of some sort. The villas may be quieter but are further from the amenitie...
