This was so much more than I was expecting. The art was vibrant and political, the layout really engaging. I learnt more about the history and the culture of Istanbul than anywhere else (although it is probably more accurate to say, that this visit 'fleshed out' what I had gleaned from all our sightseeing and guidebooks). Fascinating installation on the building of the third bridge. It felt like Art at the edge, really challenging, outrightly political. The cafe had stunning views of the Bosphorus; the food was great, and the service ghastly.
