“Best turkish coffee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Dont ever go to somewhere else if you want to taste the real original turkish coffee. Its very close to the historical district. As an alternative you may also drink apple tea.

“Smoke with the Locals!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

circa 1709 the surrounding building where a calligraphy & Quran school. Last year i walked past this place all week, thank goodness i read the some of the reviews below or i would have never found it! Nargiles...everywhere! We Loved it. This was the warmist spot in town in an outdoor covered area.

“One of the best place in Istanbul - for your evening pleasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

This place is not so visiable for a traveler who is in Istanbul for the first time....But, you shoul dknow that Ali Pasha Medresesi is something special. It is situated between Sultanahmet Square and Beyazit square, on the opossit side of Grand Bazaar (Capali Charsi).
This is the place for your leasure time, for your pleasure spent evening and night...with georgious interior , with waterpipes, tasteful Turkish tea, and wonderful people. remember - you can not see that place directly from the street..it will be in front of your face- and you will not recognize it.So , just go to the adres, and you will see high stone passage , and gate...go there , and you will be involved in one New World.....
(Before you could read what is Medresesi in Islamic world...than you will understand better- where are you ).....

The best time to visit this place is RAMADAN....there are some special nights during the Ramadan, and you can't miss it :))

“Best place for waterpipe and chat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

Surely, that is the best place for waterpipe (nargile) along with the apple tea. In minutes, you will find yourself chatting with other people around about politics, sports, etc. During spring and summer, it is really very crowded and it takes time to find a seat. Be ready for this. As a local, for me the best period is during fall and winter. All the waiters are very friendly and practical.

Go there and enjoy your time.
