Business trip 12 nights. First point - it is not 4* hotel. By average West European standards is is about 2*+. Far too expensive for the quality of service and accommodation.
Positives:
Great location - many restaurants and shops within 5 min walk.
If you have business in the Asian part of Istanbul -much easier to get around compare to Marriot.
Friendly staff.
Gym was old but ok.
Negatives:
At the price of 190 EUR/night you get 20-30 years old room.
Very old carpets. Cleaned every day but all the stains makes it look dirty.
Narrow 2 single beds with rock hard mattress and small cheap pillow.
TV the size of a post stamp.
Disintegrating draws and shelves.
Air-conditioning virtually non existent.

Business trip.
Close to main shopping street, and restaraunts and sea front.
Excellent food and service.
Good clean comfortable rooms
Refurbishment still ongoing.

its a decent not too expensive hotel, and if you want to stay in the asian side of town the location is perfect.

if the rooms (wich are good size) were brand new i would rate them as 3 star but the ones we had (we had 3 doubles) were quite dated and they were definately due a refurbishment.

there were refurbishment going on in the hotel and if i could stay in a refurbished room i would not hesitate to go back.

I stayed in this hotel during one week of business in Istanbul. It has a very good location, only 100m from a main shopping and restaurant street (on the Asian side). Here you will find a large selection of reasonable restaurants and plenty of shopping possibilities (International and expencive shops).

I would rate the room standard as 2 or 3 star hotel, and the room was very small. But the free wireless internet connection was very good. I will definitely choose this hotel again, especially for business.
