It was central to tourism An excellent accommodation with superb choices for breakfast. Everything worked and a helpful staff . even a free transfer to the airport. We will stay there again.Dont miss the pool and steam room ,but you do need a hat! There is an excellent Japanese restaurant .

Came for a wedding, great staff and nice rooms. Best parts were the restaurant on the top floor (great views) and Murat, the amazing bartender. He couldn't have been more accommodating to our entire group, even at all hours of the night.

This hotel had some positive features - a great breakfast buffet with a lovely view of the city. The room was clean and lovely. The location was odd - right in the middle of a busy intersection (you need to be so careful just getting to your hotel). Close to the subway and an easy ride to the downtown destinations. There are several streets of restaurants (very touristy) behind the hotel. A few steps away from Taksim Square and the walking/shopping promenade. The hotel was accommodating (I forgot a converter) and they provided one. The internet was super slow - could not really get any work done as the connection was poor at best and non-existent for the most part.

Room Tip: It appears that most of the rooms were two single beds - inquire if that is a problem for you.

I was in Istanbul for a conference, and Point Hotel Taksim was close by. If I were traveling on my own, however, the location would be both the biggest pro and con for me. It's a bustling area and near several options for public transportation. But the part of town is incredibly tourist-y, and it would have occasionally been nice to be able to walk down a street in the area without being bombarded with the hard sell on restaurants -- none of which were very good. (In addition, the square was the gathering point for police, as protests resumed.)

The hotel itself was pleasant, comfortable, and well-run, good for a business traveler. The only negative was that the fitness center was closed (and I was not given the option of the facilities of the hotel next door). For other runners, I found nearby Macka park pleasant to run in, although it was a bit of a hassle to dodge traffic to get there.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Music for relax. Very good spa.
The hotel staff is very friendly and the bar is great. Wide options for breakfast, also the testaurant offers a good variety of foods. Very beautiful view of Istanbul from the restaurant.
Good position near the underground.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the Taksim Square and close to shops and other sites in the city. Good value for money. The staff were friendly, helpful and they know how to SMILE !!!!
The rooms are clean and spacious. Only problem is the noisy traffic as the drivers constantly using their horns.
