This hotel is well located. It's very close to metro and tram. You need only few minutes to see every popular and beautiful sightseeing. Food is delicious, rooms are clear and comfortable, where you can relax. Staff is the best, they are very friendly and always help you, if you need it. Thank you for this memorable days !!!

We have just returned from a week in Istanbul at the Almina. We are a family of 5 with 3 children aged 10, 8 and 6 and we stayed in the interconnected family room which was great for us. It was perfect as a base for a sightseeing holiday in this wonderful city. It is right at the centre of the historic Sultanahmet area and it is a short walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Hippodrome, Basilica Cisterna and other key sights. It is also very well placed for local restaurants and the tram line that can take you to many other parts of Istanbul. The Amira is not a luxury 5 star hotel but I would stay again in a flash. The hotel is small but it is well located, the rooms are clean and the staff are very welcoming. Breakfast is excellent and there are a number of other lovely touches such as the complimentary afternoon tea, the portable wifi hotspot for use around Istanbul, the Istanbul travel pass for use on public transport and the advice from the staff on restaurants and places to visit. Evening drinks on the roof terrace as the sun is going down are also a must. Thank you again for a great week.

Great place to stay. Buried in the heart of the old city everything is close at hand. Front desk staff are amazingly helpful, great breakfast and beds really comfortable. Only fault there is no area to relax outside of your room to have the ubiquitous apple tea. Would recommend.

The Hotel was excellent in every aspect, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location, which is near to all the "need to see" sights in Istanbul. There're many resturants, and nightlife in the surrounding area. Museums are also nearby.

Room Tip: Some of the higher floor rooms have a good view of the Istanbul skyline and the sea.

warm, attentive and friendly reception and staff, well equipped rooms and a unique situation in Sultanahmed close the sights but in a surrounding that makes you feel the history you walk on, Taxi drivers sometimes need a hint to find the place, ours just called the hotel.

Room Tip: a romm on the side where you do not hear the Muezzin's call in the morning is a wise choice, whe...
