This hotel was terrible. Poor condition and poor attitude towards customers. No commitment at all. The staff was incompetent and lazy. The rooms were small and dirty and the bathrooms were extremely small. A very bad experience. Do NOT stay here while in istanbul.

We arrived at the hotel, the man behind the desk "checking us in" made a number of phone calls in Turkish. After awhile, we asked if there was a problem and he said no. 15 mins later (30 total) he informed us that they did not have a room for us at this hotel, but if we get in a car with his buddy who was going to come by soon, we'd be driven to a different hotel that did have a room for us. We refused. We were told that since it was their fault that they didn't have the room, we wouldn't be charged - 3 days later, I got a no-show charge on my credit card and have been fighting it since. During the long wait, I did walk upstairs (via a narrow, winding staircase) to the terrace which has a small shabby dining room and a great view of the blue mosque. I also passed by some of the open rooms being cleaned and they only vaguely resemble the pictures. The rooms were just large enough for the bed and that was it. I'm glad we didn't stay there.

the room that we booked was according to the description shown on
the pictures at the the booking.com's homepage. In reality, the room was
not even near the description from the homepage. Instead of windows, it
had a metal door behind the curtains. There was no lobby, just two men
working under a stairwell. The bathroom was dirty, and very small,
again, not at all as in the pictures. We could not see that there was an
elevator, though the information on the webpage clearly says there is
one. We asked if we could take pictures as a reference, but we were
denied, the aids said 'you just want to show the weak spots of the
hotel'. The list goes on. We were forced to pay for another room at another
hotel. This kind of treatment will not help in bettering the reputation
of turkish tourism. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

Dirty overall, terrible rooms, peeling wallpaper, disgusting showers, dangerously steep staircase, exposed and dangerous electrical wiring. Breakfast was terrible with stale hard bread. The staff ripped us off on transit from the airport by charging us more than they should have. It was not even that cheap, considering you can get a better deal on Priceline if you work at it. Note: I almost never complain about places, as most places, even budget and basic have some redeeming qualities. I wish we could use a 1/4 or 1/2 star.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else.

Very friendly staff, clean, excellent location. Accommodations were very basic but good value for the money. The staff was very helpful with tour arrangements. The free breakfast of fresh vegetables and bread was adequate. Excellent view from the terrace. Of you're on a budget it is a very good value.

It is a 5-storey building, a narrow spiral staircase, but without elevator.
The breakfast room is on the fifth floor. A little shabby, a little dirty but a nice view of the Blue Mosque and the surrounding dilapidated buildings. Family business, young staff. The chat I do best. Anyway nice. Just do not ask anything of them. My room was awful. I did take photos. Dirty, crumbling plaster, torn wires, just swing door with a screwdriver. But the Blue Mosque in a minute .... So if you can forget the bad and have to pay very little, you choose! If it is not good for the price you can not run!
If it is not good for the price, you can not escape far, run!

Hotel is not clean and worst thing no hot water or heat in the room. Its as if we are living in the stone age. We were moved from one room and they control the heater from down stairs.

Stay away from this hotel.
