The only reason I gave this three stars is because we had an unusual snow storm when we visited and on top of that my daughter was sick. Mrs. Ebru was very kind and knowledgeable. We crammed in tons of stops over one and a half days off of our cruise ship. We saw: Topkapi Palace (honestly I didn't love this museum as you couldn't see the rooms as they once were) - I would remove this if you are short on time, Blue Mosque (although the others we visited were better), Cistern (very interesting - definitely visit), Spice Market (for a look/see only unless you want to buy spices - if they shrink wrap your tea, double bag it in your suitcase as ours exploded all over our clothes), Dolmabachie Palace and Harems (now that is a palace well worth seeing!), Hagia Sophia (a must), Grand Bazaar (we didn't require a lot of time since we did not wish to buy anything - we were lucky that it wasn't crowded since it was snowing), Suleiyman Mosque and the Rustem Pasha Mosque (choose these over the Blue Mosque if needed) - you will have to take off your shoes and I would recommend bringing extra socks if it is wet outside as the shoe changing area is exposed to the elements, the Theodesian Walls (we did not get a chance to walk around due to the weather). I really do not recommend the Pudding Shop for lunch unless you are short of time. Go to a really good authentic Turkish restaurant (get a recommendation). Wish we had had better weather!!
