“ı can't remember a hotel better stay....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

I arrived in Istanbul on February 20, 2013 and stayed at the soliman Hotel for 4 nights. I was picked up at the airport by the Hotel in a modern mini van. Upon arrival I was greeted by Hava (and another gentleman).he went over and beyond him call of duty...hi was extremely helpful!! The Hotel is in a great location! Is is in the Old part of Istanbul and a short walking distance to all the main attractions....away from the noise and crowded streets. I stayed in room 122 on the front side of the Hotel and although the room was confurtable , it was super clean. The Hotel is of small size but that is exactly what I liked about it...the staff is able to give you the attention you require. I paid 76 euros per night for my room (given it was off season) and I have to say it was GREAT bang for the buck...especially given that they pick you up at the airport one way, they even gave me a little evil eye pin, the breakfast is included in the price (restaurant is located on the roof of the building where you can see the Blue Mosque and pretty view especially on a sunny day), the wifi works very well and is free of charge, one night i even found a fresh basket of fruit with a small bottle of wine in my room - what a treat. When I left, I received a flower and a box of turkish delight and most importantly, a hug from Hava!

We recently stayed at the hotel soliman as part of a mini break to Istanbul. We were extremely impressed with the service as soon as we entered the hotel. The décor was very modern, the facilities clean and all the staff were extremely friendly. I would highly recommend the Turkish bath in shower. A special mention to isa, ersin.orhan in reception who was particularly helpful in planning our stay so we could do as much as we could in the time that we had, and clearly went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We shall return in the near future

Room Tip: room number was 311 so perfect ı like it

Being a medium sized Hotel the staff knew their guests by name. The desk staff could not have been more helpful with advise or with organizing tours for me. Even when tours had a very early start they arranged boxed breakfasts for me without me having to ask. The buffet breakfast caters for all tastes and reflects the diverse range of countries from which their guests come. The quality of the fittings in my room were very good and everything was well maintained. If you go to Google earth you will see that it is situated within easy (and interesting) walking distance to all the attractions of the Old City. I am looking forward to revisiting Istanbul with my wife next time and staying with them again so thanks to mr.ersin .ii.he was so helpfulllllll.....

Room Tip: hotel soliman so beautiful but high floors better sure..

Location; Hotel Soliman's location is very conveniant. You can reach historic peninsula's almost all wonders by walk. That is a good point.

Design and fixtures; Hotel Soliman is trying to be unique by having Ottoman Palace atmosphere. Altough it is a brave attempt and deserves credit, some fixtures need to be maintained better - shower cabin door was dislocated, some of the LED lights on the ceiling were hanging, protective PVC layer on coupbard shelves haven't been removed... These are no significant problems.

Cleaning; room and main area cleaning was very well. Everything is spotless and tip top.

Didn't use F&B services.

Room Tip: Important note; in historic peninsula there are many restorations going on. You may end up booking a...

I was with my friends from Sarajevo in Soliman Hotel. First of all, I really liked the located because it was near ''Eminonu'' and ''SultanAhmet''. The hotel was very confortable, from the very begining I understood that I made a right chose to come to this hotel. The Staff in the hotel was very kind and helpful for me. I would like to thank the guy in the reception, Isa. he was very kind and a good advisor. He had helped us to visit Istanbul by giving us some hand-outs and informations. You would be very happy to choose this hotel when you go to Istanbul. I feel this comment would help for those who want to go to visit Istanbul city in Turkey and need a great hotel. bye

Room Tip: All rooms are very confortable.

Best experience! We really liked the hotel, the location is near the main touristic attractions! The service is good and people are very nice. Not far away from Gar-Bar (in a garage!!) with best people and a lot of fun!
