“Turkish delight?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

Initial impressions.
Bad: 50 metres from hellishly busy main road, very noisy. Built on a hillside, so more steps than a Himalayan goat trail. No bar.
Good: Friendly helpful staff, quaint 'boutique' rooms, nice (albeit VERY terraced) gardens

Room Tip: Near reception , less steps

Lovely Hotel, clean and nicely furnished, great terrace, friendly staff, good breakfast, BUT the hotel is only 100m from the motorway that runs over the bridge to Asia ! Sitting on the (very beatiful) terrace feels like picknicking on a highway.. if you dont mind that definitely worth it.. I had a room with no window which was cool for me as I had less noise, some might not be thrilled with that..

Overall the place was great to stay. The location was perfect but just a few minutes walk downhill to get there. There are also more good hotels that can be found in that area but on the main street. lots to eat and shop just a few minutes away! The hotel itself felt like home. The cook provided us with customized breakfast every morning. Room service was also good but some simple things werent available like a tissue box. It is not exactly suitable for children because there isnt anything for entertaining within the hotel.

Room Tip: Choose the Topkapi room because it has a beautiful view.

Great boutique hotel with lovely atmosphere. Thoroughly exquisite decoration. Great gardens, fresh and lovely food... We could have anything we wanted to eat and anytime we wanted. One should go and see it for herself to understand its full extent! The manager and the owners are the greatest hosts ever!!! And the locations; it is simply central and has a sea view! Second to none...

Room Tip: If you have the chance, ask for the room with two storeys. You have the bedroom downstairs and the m...

The hotel is a new converted wooden old house in Orotakoy. Staying at the hotel you will never feel it is a hotel, it is like a home, the lady owner Mrs. Semiah, and the manager who happens to be her niece are very nice and helpful, and they make you feel taht you are staying in their house not their hotel. The rooms are well appointed and designed in a very (Turkish) style, spacious, and most important the hotel is in a quiet area, only 500 meters from the famous Orotakoy area, which is a major touristic attraction in Istanbul, the hotel is always 5 minutes by Taxi from Levent, and many shopping malls, also you must visit Ulus park which is few minutes by taxi, or walking.
The food was excellent, and you have a wide choice of rooms, since they have five or six types.

Room Tip: Visit Ulus Park, which 2 km up the hill, in the park you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Posphrous...

A lot of gardens and green with two old buildings that makes you feel the real boutique hotel experience. Staff number is a little bit low but they are so gentle and helpful. Turkish delights which makes a smile on your face was lovely ! Must try...

Room Tip: Choose the suites for a good bosphorus view.
