“Small but Great Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Stayed at the L1 for 3 nights and were quite satisfied. The location is ideal as it is within walking distance from all the major sites. The rooms are not big (don't be fooled by the mirrors) but are very clean. They could certainly use a bit more lighting especially around the luggage area as well as cloth hangers. The bathroom has two glass walls and I need to mention that the door does not close completly so you should consider this if you wake up easily (the bathroom light or sounds might disturb you).
Breakfast on the terrace was lovely and the staff very polite (thank you Deniz!)
All in all, if I were to revisit Konstantinoupoli, chances are I would probably choose the same hotel.

If you go to the L1 ask for Umut, he is the front desk manager, he is very helpuf, he gave us in our second viist the room 502 with a private terrace and some free wine and fruits. The location is very good, just beside the Sultanhamet with good shopping and dinning area. You don't need a taxi to move around. Very balanced hotel.

Thank You

We are a young couple. Visited Istanbul for sightseeings. This hotel is best for this purpose. Basilica cistern, blue mosque, Higha Sophia are 5 minutes by foot. Tram stations are also not far. Rooms are small, but very comfy, and mirrors add space of course. The single thing- WC wall is also glass, but matte. But that was ok for us.
The breakfast in the hotel is not very rich, but enough to eat: boiled eggs, ham, cheese, original cheese, cornflakes, etc.

Many thanks to the receptionist and all the personal.

P.S. from my husband. Super good. Open-hearted stuff ( especially the guy from (M)Angolia - Mohono )), clean rooms, a lot of mirrors.

This hotel has the best location, it's in the heart of Sultahanemet walking distance of all the sites and of the metro line that takes you over to the Asian side.
It's located in a quiet street that has shops and also places to grab a bite, its also really close to a supermarket.
Staff were really nice and very helpful.
The property itself could be better kept.
The rooms are small, which is ok - however there was a smell coming from the pipes and the bathroom smelled bad all the time. The cleaning of the room was not very good, there were no electricity outlets so i had to disconnect the refrigerator in order to charge my cel phone.
Also i requested a wake up call and the phone in my room was disconnected, i almost missed my tour. The tv never worked while I was there. Breakfast could be better.

I stayed in this hotel from may 11 to may 16. 5 nights with buffet breakfast. I really enjoyed my trip. The hotel has a central location very close to touristic attractions like the blue mosque et Hagia Sophia. 5 min walk from these sites. You have everything you need very close if you want to buy some souvenirs or anything else. The personnal of the hotel is very nice and welcoming. The rooms are very clean but there was a little problem with the air conditionning that works only when you turn on the light of the bathroom and it is a little bit noisy. When I went to sleep and turned off the air conditionning it was very hot in the room. Breakfast is nice.

Very excellent price/quality price. Great location, great view, great staff.

Just so much better and better located than the other hotels around the same price or higher. Good staff, pretty rooms, nice terrace. Just bad we weren't there for our 1st few days.

I am sorry that I give to make 2 negative comments:
1. the clerk forgot to wake us up at 3 am for our flight (I had my own alarm) even if he was wide awake.
2. Last night, very noisy because of construction very near, but just very bad luck.

But overall, EXCELLENT !

We stayed here for 4 nights. We chose this hotel because it's near every major atraction in Old Istanbul. The mattress was very comfortable. The room was quiet and clean, although small. The staff was professional and helpful. We had breakfast on the rooftop terrace with great views across the Bophorus and to Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia and Galata Tower.
