Owner description: According to Turkish legend, a princess was locked in this tower to protect her from being bitten by a snake. Over the years the tower has been used as a customs station, lighthouse and a residence for retired naval officers.

This historical site is breathtaking. You must visit the Leander's tower if you go to Istanbul. The restaurant is great as well, however you do not need to eat. You can just go and enjoy the view over a cup of turkish coffee!! Spectacular!
