we stayed at this hotel this week 14-17 June the weather was good but inside the hotel it was almost unbearably the walk into the town is a fair walk in the heat. as its not really central. the taxi from the airport was only 22 tl. but the return trip booked at the hotel was 30 tl payable at the hotel ..avoid drinks at the hotel as on the first night we paid 29 tl for 4 whiskeys and 2 cokes. the 2nd time it was 37 tl for 3 whiskeys 1 coke and a coffee.. and change monies up at the exchange outside the grand baazar best rates. in all not very good hotel

The Resadiye is often the cheapest discount option in Istanbul on hotel search engines. There's a reason for this. The location is not bad, being in a parkish neighborhood near the picturesque Fatih mosque, and a short cab ride from the Old City. However, the rooms are tiny and poorly equipped, they have little temperature control, and they're subject to street noise. Worst of all, they often book out to school groups, which means dozens of totally out-of-control kids ging berserk in the halls until 1 AM or so. The staff is unwilling or unable to deal with that situation, which means that if you expect to sleep, you're right out of luck. Avoid this hotel!
