Staff makes you feel at home. They are so friendly. Hotel is clean. Location is perfect. You can go to historical places on foot and tramway which goes to main districts is just in a walking distance. Hotel rooms are clean and furniture style is great, feeling yourself in a palace. I strongly recommended.

The hotel was located perfectly, with a partly view to the blue mosque, short walking distance to the sea and in a fairly quiet area. The rooms were good and big, though you could hear a lot of noice from the hallway. The breakfast was fine, but nothing special. There was very good service and all in all a very good choice, if you want to be very close to the old Istanbul!

Stayed in room 104 for 3 nights. The perfume/soap/cleaning smell was so overwhelming it hurt our eyes and nose. The bathroom windows are floor to ceiling and right on the street so even though the windows are frosted you feel like you're sitting outside. Shower stall had mold in the corners.
The location is good, breakfast was ok.
Overall would not recommend this hotel to my friends.

We stayed in this hotel for a week in early November. We’d bought the room as part of a package and the whole deal was excellent value. We may have had another opinion if we’d paid anywhere near the rack rate...This is a really good budget hotel.

The hotel is in a superb location – close to the major sites; albeit at the bottom of the hill – and they’re at the top!

The staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast (western European style) is both varied and ample but, the fabric of the hotel is a little tired.

There are no convivial indoor public areas to use when it’s cool or wet and sitting on the roof terrace isn’t therefore an option. The lobby is set with tables and chairs to take restaurant overflow and there aren’t any sofas or soft chairs.

Our room was plagued with mishaps – the majority dealt with but there were dud light bulbs, no wash hand basin plug and the most awful smell that proved to be a leaking WC. The window leaked badly when it rained (as it did). Whilst not at all dirty the room and corridor needed better house-keeping and some TLC. The wi-fi was however free with a good signal.
