“a splendid Hotel near Taxim sq.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

The location of this hotel is excellent as it is near to Taxim sq.& Istiklal road ( about 200 m), this area is very famous by its shopping stores & malls, also , it is a hub for all transportations means all over Istanbule, this was very useful to us as we could move to everywhere in Istanbule easily ( using underground trains, Tram, or ferries) on the other hand the location of the hotel is in a quite sideway in a no cars area, the check-in took about 4 minutes, me and my family were in our rooms within 10 minutes, the rooms are fair in space not so tight or wide, very clean and are identical to the rooms in any 4+ stars hotel elsewhere in Europe, the room is equipped with a flat LCD TV, a kittle and a daily free supply of mineral water, Coffee, Tea bags, hair dryer, shoes polishing kit, sewing kit & a pair of bath slippers. The restaurant is very good and the service is very good also, yet the breakfast menu was the same along my staying period (6 nights), i can't comment on dinner buffet as our staying was on bed & breakfast basis, i had some troubles with the room's safe when i first checked in , so i notified the reception and i was amazed by the very rapid response as the maintenance man knocked my door within minutes and fixed it, the most excellent thing about this hotel was the staff , i specially remember Miss Raaeda the guest relationship specialist whom assisted me and my family during our staying, she gave us the most useful and effective help tips that helped us discovering Istanbule with the least possible cost, she speaks excellent English, Arabic and Turkish, we could never forget her smile and patience giving us the directions to the most important attractions around Istanbul and the fair cost of services that we might use outside the hotel, she is a wonderful person, The hotel also have a swimming pool, Gym and Spa.
In fact me & my family did not face any troubles at all over our 6 nights staying, i strongly recommend this hotel to any visitor to Istanbule specially families

This was the last place we stayed on our recent trip to Turkey, and was the least personal of all the hotels we used. Not necessarily a bad thing, but we did miss the friendliness encountered elsewhere - LaresPark felt much more like just an efficient business hotel. Our ungraded room was excellent and we got a great couple of night's sleep, and the location is very good.

Overall a good experience if you are looking for a safe and calm stay, but you'll need to go out the door to find the real Istanbul and Turkish hospitality.

I stayed 2days in this hotel.
Place was the best. Very convenient to go to the airport. Easy to take a transportation.
But the hotel staffs were not kind. They were always busy and somewhat rude.
The room was clean but there were no slippers.
I give three stars just for the good place.

Room Tip: If there were no slippers in the bathroom, let the staffs know you need it.

I was very pleased with the staff and service. I misplaced an item which was very important for the business purpose of my visit and the staff, when alerted to this, made a thorough effort to find it - with success.

The health club, jacuzzi, pool area is wonderful and I'm sorry not to be able to use it again before I leave!

The food is fabulous - plentiful, and a wonderful variety of Turkish and western food.

My room was clean and comfortable. There were a few minor things (laminate floor!) that didn't seem in keeping with a quality hotel, but before long I was extremely comfortable, and slept very well.

Room Tip: I asked for a clean and quiet room and was pleased with the one I received.

I have so much positive to say about LaresPark. My partner & I arrived in the evening & had the wrong currency. The front desk took care of that & paid the taxi driver, thank you. Our booking had been made on the internet not long before our arrival & we hadn't specified a king bed. It was a twin room & the staff quickly made the bed more suitable for a couple. There was nothing wrong (except we hadn't specified king bed) with that room & we went out the next day to have been reappointed to a very beautiful suite on our return. The staff were all charming & attentive. We certainly felt welcome. We stayed for several nights & enjoyed each moment. It is away from the hustle & bustle of the tourist areas but within an easy & interesting journey to enjoy the sights. Lots of wonderful restaurants & shops around Taksim Square which is right nearby. We had lots of questions about where to go, what to do & how to get there. The staff drew out plans on a map each time so we would arrive promptly & safely. The food was amazing also. Our travels have taken us elsewhere in Turkey & we depart from Istanbul so will be back at LaresPark to enjoy the comfort & hospitality before flying home.

Clean & big rooms with comfy beds..rooms have a traditional, not too modern decor..but the bathrooms are modern & spacious and seem to be newly renovated..great shower..the location of the hotel is so practical & central..about 2 mins away walking distance from Taksim square and the metro...and just about 5 mins away walking distance from Istiklal street..there's a little gym area & an indoor pool which is an added value..it's seems the hotel offers good spa treatments as well but i didn't get the chance to try it out...the staff is friendly & helpful..breakfast is tasty with a super diversified selection..good value for money

Room Tip: it seems some rooms are a bit noisier than others..mainly those on the first floor & facing the...

Dear Mr. G K

Thank you for taking the time to post your review on Trip Advisor.
We are glad that your experience at LaresPark Hotel was almost great.
Regarding the rooms décor, you found it a bit traditional, but we want to inform you that, the hotel style is Italian so all the hotel concept is combined of Italian décor with a modern touch.
Rooms on the first floor are not so much noisy as you think. It is only a bit noisy in the morning on the breakfast time.

We invite you to use our spa service on your next arrival to LaresPark Hotel. It is a must do.
