“Terrible Hotel!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2011

The hotel location is ideal…2 mins walk from Taksim however, that the only good thing about the hotel. Beware of the hotel schemes to rip off your money by charging you for minibar items that you did not drink, it happened with me in addition to 4 of the group we have been traveling with. Moreover, we had food stolen from our room.
That’s not all, as per the hotel rules when you need fresh towels place the old one on the floor to be replaced. Shockingly, we found out that the cleaning lady placed the dirty towels that had been placed on the floor as the new towels!!

The hotel is situated in the center of Taxin square, so it is easily accessible. Yet, I would not reccommend it for the following reasons: the rooms sre very small and the quality of the beds low. The showers are mal-functioning and too small. The breakfast is limited and there is no room service, moreover you are not allowed to carry a cup of coffee into the room. The personnel speaks horrible english, is quite rude and not helpful. There are much better hotels to choose at the same price. Avoid this hotel.

Hotel was just fine to stay in, very short walk to Taksim Square, and the walk along Beyoglu is beyond the square. Brunch is a little less than a westerner would want, but adequate. Everyone speaks English, and we had no problems with the room, or anything involved with the hotel.

The initial service was fine...the folks running the front desk were personable. The room had dirty glasses from the previous customer. Because they hadn't replenished the minibar and there were dirty glasses, they tried to charge me for wine. I don't even drink alcohol. Instead, I did pay 6 euros (!) for a 25 cl bottle of lukewarm water. It was horrible - don't go there if you have any other options.

Our group of businessmen has stayed 3 nights in the hotel.
The rooms were filthy ,some beds were blood-stained, the carpets were dirty!!!
The bathrooms were infected with mildew!!!
There was no cleaning of the room after the first night.
We ordered half-pension,breakfast was OK,but the dinner was inedible, and the prices of the drinks were crazy. To offer a 0,33 can of local beer for 10 TL - 5 EUR is a bad joke.
The hotel is in an pedestrian area, not possible to park nearby,so we had a lot of problems with the transport too.
