“Excellent location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

There was a large group of us (couples) over a long weekend in April. We were all very pleased with the hotel although 1 couple did have a very small room, the staff were quick to assist and find an alternative one for them. Breakfast was included and to a very high standard. we also ate in the restaurant one evening and it was by far the best meal of our trip. the staff and service the hotel provided could not be faulted.
The hotel is situated just off a very busy tram line but far enough back not to be heard. it did mean access around the old city up to the grand Bazaar and across the river was made very easy as tram stop was just 2 minutes away. all main old city sites including blue mosque, topkapi palace and hagia Sophia are all within easy walking distance. but do bear in mind the pavements are uneven and it is very hilly so not ideal for those with mobility issues.

Great location! Excellent service starting with the airport pickup and return. We felt the room price for our triple was very reasonable considering we were in the heart of the historic center. The location was perfect for all the famous sights. The tram was a short block away for any that were not a comfortable walk for us seventy year olds. We have traveled a fair amount in Europe and tend to be economical in our choice of accommodations, choosing to spend our $$$ on seeing the sights rather than luxury hotels. Yasmak Sultan was a delightful surprise. Our room was small by US standards but was well furnished with three very comfortable beds with additional pillows as requested, white-glove clean bathroom with a large luxurious shower, large bath towels, slippers and terry robes, a welcomed in-room safe, and very good WiFi in the room. Since we consider a hotel room a place to sleep and not spend much up-time in, the size was not particularly a problem for us (a retired couple and 18 yr old granddaughter). The included breakfast buffet is not to be missed (huge selection of items along with cooked-to-order eggs) and the view from the rooftop dining room is fabulous. One last word about the service…it was outstanding in our opinion. Every one from the manager, front desk, driver, bell hop, concierge, breakfast wait staff, chambermaid, etc. were welcoming and very helpful. One person walked with me to the kiosk to show me how to buy our tram ticket. When my wife misplaced her wristwatch the staff turned the place upside down in the search including the laundry room to see if it had been caught up in the sheets/towels. Yes, we did find it!

Room Tip: We were three adults and asked for three separate beds. Good decision! Although the beds took up m...

The location was very good - close to all tourist sites. Traffic flow in front of the hotel is restricted so it is very quiet despite its central location. Breakfast and room standards were very good and cozy. Great location for Old Town touring, I'll stay here again.

Perfectly located in the old town within walking distance of major attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace. The rooms are small but clean and have everything you need. A hearty breakfast is served In the rooftop restaurant which has fabulous views over Istanbul and Hagia Sophia. They will make omelettes to order. The hotel staff were very friendly and the service really good. Our room was on a higher floor and had a nice view of Hagia Sophia as well. The Olive Restaurant on the top floor had amazing food and night views and our waiter was the best.....so funny and efficient. We even got him to be in our photo. Wish i could remember his name. We highly recommend the Yasmuk Sultan and the Olive Restaurant.

Room Tip: Request a room on a higher flour with a view of Hagia Sophia.

I went for an exposition and stayed there for 2 days . Nice hospitable people the hotel has and they serve you very efficiently what you need. Breakfast was very nice and i used spa center two times for rexaling and it worked with a lady from Bali. She was very good at her bussiness. Concierge called taxi for me and organized my trip. So attentive. Thanks them all.
