Stayed two nights. Staff couldn't have been more accommodating and informative. Having never been to Istanbul, appreciated them taking the time to provide a number of tips and direction on where to go, what to see. This is the kind of place where they remember you and know what room you're in. Each time I walked in they recognized me and gave me my room key.
Rooms are extremely clean. Had a single sea view on the 4th floor. Bathroom amenities are provided. TV is small and has a few English speaking channels (CNN, BBC). Thought it was a nice touch there was a survey left after my first night asking for my comments on the quality of their housekeeping. Small fridge contained a few bottles of water, soda and beer at reasonable prices. (1 YTL for water, 3 for beer (Efes) as I recall)
Location provided easy access to the most historic sights. Literally 5 minute walk to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia.
There is a nice laptop in the lobby for guest use as well as wireless internet available in guest rooms (no charge). Breakfast is a selection of cheese, breads, cereals and meats. Some of the breads were homemade and very tasty. You can't beat the view from the rooftop breakfast eating area.

Spent 4 days here. Corner suites being refurbished so we were given an upgrade to the 'Sultan Suite' for 2 nights, with the other 2 nights in a standard room, all with an appropriate financial reduction.

The Sultan Suite is impressive, palatial decor - nice views toward the sea. The standard room is just that - standard - no frills, but everything you need, although some more drawer space would have been welcome.

Breakfast is on the roof terrace, indoor or outdoor, nice view of Bosphorous and Blue Mosque. Turkish style buffet, cold meats, eggs, yoghurt, cheese etc - all very nice.

Hotel is 5 minutes from Blue Mosque, 10 mins from Aya Sofya, 15 minutes from Topkapi - so ideal for sightseeing. General area is pretty quiet at night when the tourists have gone - but perfectly safe. A few restaurants locally, but 10 minutes walk to get a selection.

All staff were superb, courteous and very helpful with advice on boat schedules, restaurant, etc. Would definitely go back.

We loved this hotel. We stayed last summer with two children (8 and 10) and a grandad and would definitely go back. The building is charming, the location great and although our rooms were small they were comfortable. The rooftop terrace breakfast buffet was lovely with wonderful views. Best was the warm welcome and friendly and helpful staff. On the first morning the manager went out of his way to tell us about places of interest and give helpful advice.

We stayed in this hotel by the recommendation from tripadviosr. WE were very pleased with this hotel. I stayed her with my husband and two children. We were picked up from the airport and whisked away to the hotel. The hotel is in a residential location. We were on the third floor in a corner room.

1. The hotel is in a great location. You can walk to the all of the sights, restaurants and to the public tram.

2. The room was nice. It was not overly decorated or furnished, but it suited our needs. There was a queen size bed, a single and a cot in our room.

3. The staff was very helpful and kind. They were always smiling and helped us with any questions we had and gave us suggestions on places to eat with our children.

4. The morning breakfast was very good. The food was good and so was the coffee. The views from the rooftop were a wonderful way to start the day.

5. The only problem that we encountered with the hotel was when the electricity went out for an hour or so. Not the hotels fault, and the problem was fixed in a timely manner. Apparently, it happens quite a bit.

We had a great stay in this hotel and would recommend it to anyone. Turkey was a very nice place to visit. The people are very friendly, especially to children.
