Enjoyed staying there everything was perfect and I will never forget the yumy breakfast buffet.the sea and park view from my room was amazing and what I liked the most is the cleaness and tidiness every time I come back to my room

was looking for a hotel that i could enjoy a long weekend with the relaxation of a pool while also being able to explore the city. Swissotel was perfect for both - couldn't have asked for better.
On the downside the food and beverage prices in the hotel are a little expensive - i would advise you to take the breakfast package!! AMAZING Breakfast :)

Beautiful hotel, fantastic spa facilities, lovely pool area and gym.Rooms on the 15 th floor overlooking the Bosporus ,views are stunning.
Executive lounge worth the extra, attentive friendly staff couldn't do enough for you. Sit outside on the lounge veranda, marvellous views. Muharram and the other waiters fantastic, patient and kind.
Concierge knowledgable and helpful.
Close to water taxis and tram stop. Transport system is excellent and we found it very easy to travel around for very little 3 TL for each trip ( just over £1) . Taxis cheap.
Close to all amenities and easy to get to sites and city itself.

Room Tip: Choose a higher floor overlooking the Bosporus. Instead of walking down the main road use the back w...

This hotel is located perfectly close to Taksim Square (at least perfect in quiter times!) and the Bospohorus. Rooms are nice and spacious and there are tennis courts and pools for those with such addictions. On top of that - and on top of the hotel - is the most fantastic roof top bar and terrace with stunning views of the Bosphorus, the golden horn and the old city. If you don't stay there go to the roof top anyway. Similar views exist at Istanbul 360 restaurant - go there if you do not wish to venture off the Istiklal pedestrian street aroud Galata.

There are many good reasons to stay here. And the price is quit reasonable considering service, space of rooms, facilities, location etc.

The draw backs for me at this hotel is size. The vast lobby/bar gives the place a less cosy feel, but is great for capacity and catering for mass audiences at conferences etc. When travelling on business it is really a great place. If I went with family I think I would prefer the four sesons at the Bosphorus, whichis more elegant and feels more intimate. What that hotel lack in stunning views from the hights it more than makes up for by proximity to the water and other things.

Proper 5* hotel with everything you would expect. Very slick and well run hotel, with the most fantastic views across the Bosphorus and the old city from the roof top bar and restaurant. The rooms are well equiped and the staff are very attentive and friendly
One minor complaint - We were there for 6 nights and only 2 of the many restaurants available were open, which was a little odd as we visited in July.

Room Tip: Worth getting a Bosphorus view.

Unfortunately the start was not good
I booked a car as a treat for my kids and it did not arrive................ ended up having a taxi with no aircon and it took 2.5 hours to get to the Hotel from Atatturk Airport -not the Hotels fault but I understand this is normal and no warning given.
Check-in was efficient but the Concierge personnel were talking to each other and I left after being ignored. They were responsible for the car not being arranged so that part of the Hotel does not work
For the price the rooms appear dated and it would seem the whole Hotel is in need of a facelift. The internet hardly worked so I could not do any work... it was meant to be free but it worked if you paid a small fee to upgrade. I refuse to pay for internet in a hotel of this class and price. Breakfast was great but expensive.
Have stayed in this Hotel many times but I am sad to say I do not recommend it at the moment apart from a good Gym but that is such a small part of my stay it is not good enough to outweigh the poor service currently experienced

Room Tip: Sofa hotel.....
