I often come to this hotel for business trips in Istanbul.
This is located not far from the Golden Horn but also sufficiently close to Levent business center.
Rooms are spacious and elegant, bathrooms are simply enormous.
Personnel is attentive.
Breackfast is excellent.

Stayed for a night at one of its clubrooms overlooking the Taxim park and the hotel courtyard, etc.
We used transfer service from Ataturk airport to the hotel in a vehicle reserved through the hotel. The vehicle and the service was not hotel-run/owned, and even though the type of car for pickup was assigned in advance correspondence e-mail, different car was used, and there were other hotel's periodical inside. Upon entry to the hotel entrance, the rear trunk was checked by a guard. The drive thru the traffic-ridden town in a vehicle was very comfy, and driver was professional and provided the tour en route, which we enjoyed.
Even though the hotel is understandably not particularly unique in its decoration (architecture and rooms), I liked black and white photography of the old istanbul and neutral and calm atmosphere after long travel.
Club lounge offered great selection of food and drinks, maybe as we stayed on holiday season, there were full of things we liked (Turkish raki, wines and other well-known brands of alcohol, holiday sweets, organic honey and jams, menemen (Turkish-style spicy scrambled eggs), etc. and fresh orange juice felt like the best I ever had), which we particularly appreciated as we didnot feel like moving more distance.
We left shortly after having breakfast, and didn't try other facilities, but all staff we encountered here were nice (judging from the business-oriented guests frequenting the hotel), and the sunrise over bosphorosu seen from the clubroom reception area stairs was unforgettable.

Room Tip: If there will be time available for club lounge core times, choose club floor rooms. The food and b...

Food was ok. Beef tenderloin was nice but veg coated in butter, and wine of very poor quality. The annoyance was staff who set up breakfast tables around us while we were trying to have dinner, had very little wine knowledge when asked for a recommendation and we had to call out to get attention.

So this is a top end business hotel. Although it is geared to business travellers, tourists can be confident that it is ok for their needs. It is very nice indeed.

We liked:
- the rooms were nice and the bathrooms clean and modern and fancy;
- restaurant was great with excellent service and a great range. Get the breakfast you will not regret it.
- staff were very helpful;
- location. Walk to Taksim square in 5 minutes and take the funicular and then the tram to the ferries or the tourist part of Istanbul;
- the gym - steam room are excellent.

I note:
- the Internet which was pretty average although free;
- the business centre has computers that are a little old.

We spent one night here in December between flights through Istanbul. We stayed here two years ago, for the same reasons, and were keen to see how things were during our return visit. From the moment we checked in, the welcome was as warm as ever. Greeted by name, the check in staff were efficient and courteous and, despite us arriving very early (11am) our room was immediately available to us.

We were upgraded to a Club Suite, accessible through a private elevator and the room was wonderfully spacious and clean. Free wifi (we are platinum Gold Passport members) and access to the club lounge was very much appreciated.

As it was a quick overnight, we used the time to rest in our room and ordered room service. It arrived very quickly and was just as described and just what we needed. The menu selection is quite limited compared to other Hyatt properties but includes a selection of local Turkish specialities so you can sample the native cuisine, confident that the standard of the dish will be excellent.

Things We Liked:
Warm Welcome
Pleasant, Courteous, Efficient and Professional staff
Clean and Comfortable - the Hyatt Bed is legendary
Free Wifi
Excellent Shower and Bathroom Facilities
Good Views of the Bosphorus
Central Location (just 500m from Taksim)

Things We Don't LIke:
Open Window/Shutters between bathroom and bedroom mean lack of privacy
Limited Room Service menu options

Hotel was great, staff excellent, restaurant too. The concierge was super helpful and made our trip. Only problem... A bit far taxi ride to the sites in the old part. All things considered, I'd stay here again.
