“Value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

Normal ticket (10 tl) and many things to see. Of course, the most of the exhibitions aren't turkish, but from other cultures (Mesopotamia, Fryghia, Sidonia etc). It's one step from Top Capi. It's also open on Sunday.

“Wow!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

History buffs are in for a treat here! Turkey is proud of it's place in history and embraces it's past by preserving for the future. Some of the exhibits here are a fantastic journey through human history. Make sure you get the audio tour and have a full half-day available to at least feel that you've tried to give it all justice.

“great museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

give yourself plenty of time to do this museum. we were greedy and went the day after we arrived. Jet lag intruded, so we had to leave before we were finished. Dont' miss the Tile Kiosk with ceramic beauties from the great potters of Iznik. I could have moved into this museum for a week or two.

“Surprisingly better than expected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

It was pouring with rain so we were looking for things to do inside. We enjoyed the museum more than we expected. The artifacts were quite amazing in the main building. It is a shame that the building itself needed some work though. Would recommend on a wet day for sure.
