“A stop by while in the neighbourhood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

Walked by this little wine bar multiple times on our way from Faik Pasha Hotel to Istiklal Street and finally popped in on Saturday. Much more for locals than for tourists, it has a very homey feel and lack of pretension. An interesting wine list, though we felt that Turkish wines have a very similar palate, this little place is such a wonderful way to spend an evening with a lover, friends or just for a glass of wine. Was not able to eat after being full from dinner at Sofyali 9, but dishes going by looked tasty.

“Great wine bar!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2014

Not really a restaurant, but definitely a great wine bar! Extensive selection of Turkish wines by the glass and the staff is more than happy to help you choose. In my case, they even let me try several wines to make sure that I was happy with their suggestion.

The food (various mezze, cheese platter, cold cuts platter) was a great accompaniment to the wine.

“Best wine in Istanbul”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2014 via mobile

Wine is quite expensive in restaurants in Istanbul, but here they have a choice of over 50 wines by the glass at very good value. The staff were really helpful - we asked for advice on which wines to choose as we weren't familiar with Turkish wine. There was also a really good buzz here for a chilled night out.

“A bit expensive”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2014 via mobile

I cannot rate high this place. Price politics is a bit ludicrous. The difference in price between "wine to go" and "wine on the spot" is double. Ok, the price could a bit higher if you want to drink inside, but not two times higher... I bought local wine to go and it was average (it tooks me a while to buy a wine-opener;) Interior is average but waiter was nice and able to speak english.
