“relaxing place in the middle of Istanbul :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

Me and my friends stayed here for our last few days in Turkey, After all the travelling that we've been through really appreciate the friendly driver and comfy car picking us up from the airport straight to the hotel. The Angel's Inn Hotel i would say located in the heart of Sultan Ahmet area in front of Cagaloglu Hammam with 300 years of history, just nice for relaxing and releasing all your stress before heading out to places which are conveniently just around the corner. Hadja Sophia and Blue Mosque is located around 10 minutes away (walking) from the hotel. For those who enjoy shopping Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar respectively 8 and 15 minutes away. Along the way you could find all kind of authentic Turkish restaurant which serves really good food and dessert. For those who wanted to see more of Istanbul the tram is only 5 minutes away. and also not forgetting the Topkapi palace etc. The hotel is a good hub to take a rest if needed since it's close to many attractions. And the most important is the good night sleep since it's not on the main busy road. Really appreciate it. and also not forgetting the friendly and really helpful staff for the assistance.. thanks :)

Clean Hotel, very safe area close to every good areas in Istanbul. The tram stop is 5 min walking, the blue mosque and Haja Sophia are 10 min walk and the palace 15 min walked. Grand Bazar just 8 min walk. Pharmacy very close. Hotel clean and employees are very good. By request they provide you a good driver to go where you want. To be recommended. The old city hammam is in front of the hotel good area for relaxation.

Room Tip: You will find a terrasse on top of the Hotel to have a great view on the bosphore

Our study abroad group of 12 descended upon the Angel's Inn Hotel for 8 days in April and they were the greatest! The hotel was comfortable and clean. You had the comforts of home while still experiencing the feel of the city. My roommate and I shared a spacious first floor room off the lobby at street level. At first I worried about potential noise. But it was no problem. We slept with the windows open most of the time and it was great. It was a large room with a double bed and a twin. Very comfortable. The other rooms I saw were smaller but again very comfortable. The included european style breakfast was very good and satisfying. We started each day with a good meal and we were off.
I can't say enough about the staff. They were friendly, helpful and genuinely cared about our well being and enjoyment. Ilhan manned the desk, he was attentive, friendly and infinitely patient trying to teach us Turkish. He was a much better teacher then we were students... Of course his English was very good as was the owner, Osman's. Ilhan answered questions, helped take care of one of our sick students and taught a student how to play backgammon. If he had ever been off of work, we would have been happy to welcome into our group. Angel's Inn Hotel is a family business that is a excellent value
We highly recommend Angel's Inn Hotel in Istanbul. It was centrally located with an easy 5 minute walk to the Hippodrome or 10 minutes to the Grand Bazaar. We could easily walk anywhere in Sultanahmet.
They also had an elevator which was very helpful to those of our group on the 3rd & 4rth floor.
Roof top view of the Bosphorus was beautiful.

I stayed here for a week with my husband, the staff were fantastic only too willing to go out of their way to help. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Its location is marvelous and there are plenty of historical places to see. Food is traditional and value for money. We will definatley be going back and have already recommended it to our friends and family.

If you are looking for a clean, no frills, comfortable place, this is it. 4 blocks from Aya Sofya and Topkapi. This little family-owned hotel is ideally placed and priced to suit a low budget. A/C, with plenty of hot water, T.V. (if you must), Buffet breakfast Turkish style. Restaurants, a corner shop, even a chemist nearby. Easy walk to ferries and specialty shops. I highly commend it, I loved it!

Great location, good services, awesome staff, clean & cozy rooms, nice view over looking the city, yummy breakfast and what more could one ask for?
You're so sorted, you can just relax, have fun & just explore. Stone's throw away to all the highlights of the city which is super cool, convenient & I just love walking around the place.

I left Istanbul with a happy face & thats all that counts. :)

Angel's Inn hotel is really a best hotel to stay with family or friends. Location is marvelous and it is 5-10 mins. walk to the most important historical sites, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, Galata Bridge, Eminou Port etc . The staff is very friendly and helpful and made one feel home.. The rooms are clean and it looked exactly the same like in pictures. Execellent quality and price deal. and it is a very well maintained hotel
I would really recommend this hotel for travelers without any hesitation and would stay here again if I visit to Istanbul again... :)
