I did spent 4 night at Sultan Ahmet it few minutes from jetty and walking distance from Galata bridge were you can spent a lovely evening and have nice dinner, overall if you go there you can't skip topkapi palace, Aya sofia and blue mosque
Hotels there are cheap and clean.

Room Tip: Blue mosque or sea view

This is a very nice hotel to stay. We stayed for a week in May, 2012. Our goal was to stay close to old city. It's conveniently located in walking distance to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Top Kapi Palace. Staff is very friendly (Mehmet, Sinan, Baran). It has good breakfast bar. Bathroom space was a bit tight though. Can potentially be issue for large built people. However, for me this was no issue and is understandable for given location and rate. Rooms were clean. We enjoyed our stay.

We went there as a cuople in May and we really loved the place.
The room was really clean .
Staff of the hotel was reallypolite specially Sinan & Baran were really helpful and nice . They both know good English .
We have been in room with the street view . No noise can be heared from the street so you can rest in the hotel during the day if you want to.
Breakfast was served on the top floor with lovely view of Marmara sea and was really good breakfast.
Excellent Value for Money
We have been there for 7 nights and absoluteley loved it. Thanks to all of them there :)

love it! love it! love it!
1. in March 2011 we decided to visit one of the most beautiful cities of the world... and i sent requests to different hotels, and (being unlogical girl or call it whatever) according to the replies i stopped on this hotel. because for me the first impression (nice communication) is really important!
2. as far as it was a first visit to Istanbul... we knew nothing about it... and this is another point i should thank the staff of the hotel - they arranged a transfer to us!
3. the reason of our visit was not only to see the city, but to have an uncommon bday! and i was really surprised when i've been assisted 100% in arrangement of the SURPRISE for my friend on her bday and (THANX TO THE OWNER) we had a real great party! we've been allowed to use a terrace at night, and it was like a magic... because the terrace veiw is unbelievably gorgeous!
4. the terrace view is great both at nights and in the mornings... it is really great to have breakfast watching the beauty of the city...
5. staff, location, attitude... EVERYTHING IS GREAT!

LOVE IT! CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK AGAIN... THANX!
