I was travelling alone and had just 2 days in Istanbul. Furkan was referred to me by some Australians I had recently met in Italy. I spent a great day walking around Istanbul with Furkan, who took me to see most of the usual historical sites and to places that are off the beaten track. We walked down streets and ally ways where tourists wouldn't normally go. It was nice to experience normal day to day street life whilst sipping on apple tea in a typical Uni student haunt/coffee shop. And to eat with the locals in on of the many street side Restaurants. Furkan showed me lots of wonderful Turkish foods and I wanted to try them all. As I was travelling alone with limited time, this tour was a great way to see the city with a knowledgeable local at an easy pace and who was very flexible with what you wanted to see and experience. Well done Furkan! I hope to come back to spend more time and see a lot more of Turkey.
