Stayed at the Minel in September 2012. Staff is helpful but not overly friendly. Rooms are clean but there are lots of small details that need attention like broken hooks in the bathroom so no place to hang anything, head board broken away from wall.... and worst of all, blood on my white comforter....more than from a small cut on the hand or such. Kind of sickening. Pulled a huge hair out of the breakfast plate of olives the next morning. Again, kind of gross. Location is good, just behind Haghia Sophia, kind of on an alley but perfectly safe.
